  1. When I looked at the records it all made sense. UMD has played only 39 games. BC has played 40.
  2. So despite playing in the late game the previous night against a tough opponent they'll be well rested because they played one game the week before? Makes perfect sense. I'm glad I asked.
  3. UMD has to fly to the regional. For BC it's a 45-minute bus ride. UMD plays the late game on Friday. Assuming they beat Maine how do you figure they'll be well rested?
  4. Without a doubt and if he's there expect the camera to find him early and often.
  5. Awesome. Let's just dispense with the NCAA's and award the title to the winner of the Final Five.
  6. Here we go. Even the WCHA's bottom feeders are better than HEA's. Pardon me if I don't take the bait.
  7. I wasn't knocking Canadians. BC has a few.
  8. No I didn't but tell you what. Let's just divide the Sioux up and they could probably stock both the US and Canadian teams without missing a beat.
  9. NU is no more of a bottom feeder than MSU-M and as long as we're throwing things in it's worth mentioning that 6 of BC's 12 consecutive wins are against teams that actually made it to the NCAA including 2 over Maine. At this stage in the tournament is there any reason to think any of the 4 remaining teams can't win?
  10. UND ain't the world juniors.
  11. My memory is quite good. It was a surprise to almost everyone when York picked Schneider to play against UND. He had lost confidence in Matti because of his erratic play. That's a fact.
  12. Maybe you'd go on a "posting barrage" but I won't. I'll be here tomorrow and if the Sioux win I'll tip my cap to them. You won't hear me making excuses.
  13. If Lammy (or anyone else) were a first-round NHL draft pick he'd be getting his share of coverage and please don't claim eastern bias. Vanek and Kessel were unarguably media darlings. I don't know what you mean by having "all the right breaks". Schneider has worked incredibly hard to get where he is. I'm not getting into that tired HEA vs. WCHA peeing contest. Suffice it to say that I think it's cyclical.
