The blizzard and flood in ND have forced me to change my plans. I'll be in Mpls Friday night! Anyone have a spare ticket to the 'Dawgz game?
There are plenty of tickets for sale on GPL (No, that's not a dig at the Gophers or their fans ). You might be able to find a good deal.

Time to forfeit!
Nah, they should just give us a free pass to the Frozen Four.

Does anyone know if Watkins is a go for the weekend??? Haven't seen anything on here about him
Today is Media Day so perhaps we will know something by this afternoon/evening. Brad is really good about updating his blog.
The Grand Forks Airport is closed today. If it doesn't re-open tomorrow I wonder what the NCAA will do if the hockey team can't get to New Hampshire this weekend. Brad posted earlier this week that the team is scheduled to fly out tomorrow morning.

Where was Watty? Shaving?
Haha! I didn't even realize Watty was missing until I got home and started looking through my pics. I guess he didn't get the memo.

We won't know for sure until Sunday, March 22 when the Selection Show airs. The only sure thing is that if the Gophers make the tournament they will play at Mariucci Arena as the host.

This was posted on a St. Louis Blues message board. Way to go JPL!
Alaska rookie Jean-Philippe Lamoureux stopped 30 shots in a 2-0 win against Las Vegas on Sunday for his seventh shutout of the season to tie the ECHL record set by Maxime Gingras of Richmond in 1998-99 and tied by David Brumby of Jackson in 1999-2000 and Frederic Cloutier of Louisiana in 2001-02.The 24 year old is 26-14-2 and leads the league in wins with 26 and save percentage with .923 while ranking second with a goals-against average of 2.30.
He is 4-1-0 with two shutouts, a goals-against average of 1.41 and a save percentage of .948 in his last five starts.

If you win a Stanley Cup where is the first place you want to take it?
...I would bring it back to Minnesota and probably bring it up to North Dakota where I went to college... -
The press box at The Ralph is hard to beat. The view of the arena is amazing! I prefer to see the entire ice surface so I can watch everything as it develops.
On the flip side, for my first Sioux/Gophers series at Mariucci Arena I sat two rows behind the benches, center ice. Those seats were incredible!

A friend and I are going to our first Final Five this year. We purchased our tickets yesterday but are having a hard time finding a decent hotel within walking distance of the arena. Does everyone who's going already have a room booked or do some of you wait until the Final Five teams are 'finalized' and hope that fans of other teams cancel their reservations? Also, should we have to stay farther away, does anyone know if there are shuttles or buses running to and from the arena from area hotels? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

DANG! Sioux flying in OT!

Green jerseys tonight.
No surprise, the place is empty! LOL at the wolf calls after each UAA player is introduced.
