There are not many northern plains Scandinavian tailbacks playing in the Big Ten.

Simo doesn't need to be a 30 point guy but seriously he has 1...ONE...point this season. To put it into perspective...Peski has 2 points.

Too many offensive players/forwards that have been completely unproductive so far..........Wilkie, Gardner and Simo are 3 that stand out right now. Feel free to add if you want.

Is Boeser not on the roster this season? Is he not a first round pick? Same goes for Jost. Now if Boeser is out the rest of the season it's a whole different story. Those 2 won't be here next season which is where my comment came from in regards to Saturday.

To not make the NCAA tournament with this roster.........and having the West Regional in your own back yard would be an epic fail.

JJ apparently meet/spoke with both UND and NDSU this past weekend...................................I guess he ultimately picked UND because Klieman told him "Son...you're not good enough to be a Bizun".

Quick...........................................how many goals do Jost AND Boeser have combined so far in NCHC games to date? ..................................................if you bet the under with the line set at ONE combined goal between the two of them you are a winner.

Let's make this clear, and I mean crystal, there is no FCS team...not one and NDSU is included...that wouldn't take JJ into their program next season.

..........anyone remember Ryan Chappel? JJ is a little taller. 35 lbs heavier. And as fast. JJ is 6'1" and 230..........he has run a sub 11.00 second 100M.

WR is though and a shift to WR for Santiago upgrades both those skilled positions in a big way.

JJ could start game 1 next fall at UND....and would be an upgrade. He's the real deal. He is Santiago and Brady in a single package. ........and NDSU thought they got a good pick up with King Frasier a couple years back.

I think Wilkie has officially entered the Murphy category. Simo just needs to sit if UND ever gets a full squad to pick from. Watching last night.....where is the on ice leadership? Boo-Berry can only do so much but that PP was absolutely dismal. I thought Gornall had some nice shifts. Bottom line, as was evident without the 2 first rounders, this squad lack offensive talent minus 19 and 14. Gardner will be showing up on a milk carton near you soon.

UND is comfortably at #11 in the PW. Next up #12 Union......on the road..... without Jost and Boeser.

This game was a microcosm of what next year will probably look a lot like....
