Lapoint and Finley would work and leave Jones with Marto. But the issue I see is if a D-man gets hurt, you couldn't pull Genoway off the top line for D and put Miller back in there. Radke to D? Fun to think about but I don't see it happening

I know Hak really likes Genoway on the blueline, but putting him with Oshie and Duncan really intrigues me the more I think about it.

Agree and 2 Ws are the most important aspect to the weekend, but...

Have you seen the Mavs play over the past few years?? If we are fortunate to be up by 4-5 goals, it will get chippy and UND will not have started it, but this time I think UND will end it based off of last year's garbage. So would that be classless--your call? Revengeful--maybe? I don't advocate fighting for fighting, but if the Mavs try anything, I don't see our guys taking it this weekend.

Was thinking the same thing. I think UND comes out flying, gets a comfortable lead 4 or 5 goal lead and then Hak unleshes the dogs as the game winds down! MSU the epitome of classlessness when it come to college hockey! And as a storied program, we don't take kindly to that!

You might not be a chef/cook, but if you go to out for dinner and the food is not good, you should have a right to comment on the food. If you are not a doctor, but you feel that your care was less than what you expected from your doctor, you have a right to voice your concern. If you have never played hockey before, but are a knowledgable fan and you feel a player is not playing up to his potential, you should have the right to comment on that.

This thread's initial post seems to suggest that if you are not in total support of all things Sioux sports, you are a "bad apple" and need to be voted off the island. To even suggest that is irrational at best. It seem though, as I previously mentioned, that this is the mentality by some that is causing the rift among some posters and unfortunately driving some posters away .

I was noticing the same thing. There seems to be an underlying current by some on this site that anything said not in total support of a player, coach or team is blasphemy . I'll try in the future to post only uplifting and inspirational topics...i.e. puppies, sunsets, fields of wild flowers...

That's what I was trying to get at. I know the story was not about positives and that why there are some who are upset. And again I can see their point as well.

Agree, our state is what it is on the issues you and NG mentioned, but those in "defense" seem to feel that more could have been said by NG on the positives of ND to which I can understand as well.

If we can't work our way up to a #1 seed, send us to the Springs so I can read what the RMN has to say when we nail CC on our way to Denver!

If that is the case, same 4th line as last Sat. goes this Friday and let those 3 take a couple Mavs to the woodshed after we are up 6-0 late in the 3rd.

If Hak wants more offense, Genoway is the guy to move around. I like what Malone brings to the 4th line. I also would like to see Kozek on the top line this weekend. If everyone is/gets healthy, the quality of line options is nice to have.

Let the NCAA stick us wherever they want, we'll dash a couple team's hope/dreams...again!!

All things being relative, he didn't keep up with the other 2 on that line. Agree he played hard and that he should/could remain in the line-up, but not where he is currently at on that 1st line. If UND finds someone to click with Oshie/Duncan, we would have 2 great lines.

Exactly. MTU seem so concerned with Osh this weekend that I am suprised that Miller (and Duncan to an extent) did go off in one of the 2 games. Agree with many of the posts that Miller, on that line, is just not doing it.

Curious to hear what others thought of Davidson. Thought he might be playing to finish some business if things got chippy but he looked pretty good. That is one tough line with him, Radke and Malone. That line might come in handy this weekend in a physical beat down of a couple Mavs if need be!!

VV at a wing then?? Oshie looks strong at center. I like VV with Watkins and Kiap. Not disagreeing but think robbing Peter to pay Paul might not be the best solution. I'd give trupp or Kozek a shot on the top line this weekend.
