Wow, Ness just made a great move to create a scoring chance. It reminded me of Chorney. Anyway, they said Jason Fabian is out with an injury. My first thought was, that figures. Would that be Erik's brother? Anyone know anything about him? As much as Erik wanted to be at UND, I'd assume a brother would be interested.

Well, after a big day and night of watching MN Class A hockey...... A few guys from St. Thomas looked good but the young stud that was on the team as an 8th and 8th graded has headed to Michigan for the U17 team. Gutsch and Connelly for Duluth Marshall apparently have drawn interest from WCHA schools and I'd assume UMD would be one. They both looked very good to me. Drew Leblanc had a hat trick and 3 assists in Hermantown's win. He's only a Jr, but I'd assume UMD is watching him also. The top line for Little Falls is better than advertised. The Hanoski brothers are both damn good with one scoring his 39th goal tonight, but Jared Festler is just unreal. He had a SH goal tonight for his 70th on the year to go along with 52 assists. He's a Jr too. Warroad is on right now so Aaron Marvin is in the spotlight. Has UND looked at this kid at all? I'd assume so with a little bit of a Warroad connection and all. At 6-3, he's already got the size.

Did he really invite John Buccigross to go skinny dipping with him?

I think he could use a couple years of jrs and come in 09.

Great period. Pretty dominant all the way around and against a pretty good goalie too. Nice to see some of the not so usual suspects starting to chip in on the score sheet.

I just watched Grand Rapids beat Cloquet 3-1 in the 7AA title game. Even though he's headed to the enemy, Pat White is seriously fun to watch. Reid Ellinson's dad was interviewed during intermission and It didn't seem like his said had any serious offers on the table. He said that he hoped he could start his education right away and play D1 hockey, but that Jrs were an option because he was going to do what it takes to get a scholarship. I would if UND has looked at him at all. He showed why he's the top goalie in the state.

OSHA may require the brim to the front, but OSHIE requires it to the back.

My random thoughts from the game........ Lammy was amazing. VV played great. That's what I expected more often this year. OT penalty aside, Fabian was great also. The Chorney pipe shot may have been the best passing that I have seen in college hockey this year. The Toews steal behind the net in OT almost made me fly out of my chair. I was praying that Duncan would end it just because I was sick of the Bobby this and Bobby that with the Hobey talk and not even a mention of another guy on the ice that has been HUGE for his team. While trying to forget a blown lead, it was one of the best games I've seen this year.

Well, my guide is up thru friday night now and Charter in Bemidji shows 4 College Hockeys!!! for friday night. I was pretty happy to see that it's Wis vs UMD and Tech vs MN each on 2 channels. I also get DU vs CC later on. Guess it's webcast for me.

From what I've read, Toews is expected to center to top line and Skille wouldn't be making the team.

I think I only had 2 pauses of maybe 3 seconds during the webcast and I also had a couple explorers and MSN going. I'm not sure how far Charter goes, but I watch 99% of the hockey games they broadcast and I can't remember getting a St Cloud game when they didn't play someone that they normally cover. Like MN on the normal channel or DU on Rocky Mt.

I'd have to agree with the final 3. It would be great to see Duncan bring it home. If he can't, I just hope it's not TJ. My company is out of Michigan and I always argue with my boss about the hockey talent in Michigan and Minnesota.
