  1. That was a pretty goal. Nice move by Kristo.

Haven't seen many like that from him. He usually takes the shot instead of being patient and waiting out the goalie.

    Very nice move.

Thanks TJ for showing Kristo a few tips :silly:

  2. Pleasure meeting you at Max's at the game, and glad I could snap a picture of ya before the game. Might run into you at a Maine game or two next season. Go Sioux,

As for the Cornell fans, my word for them would have to be cordial. Very gracious in winning and losing. Cannot believe how many people thanked us for coming, asked us questions about UND, complimented our team, and fans. And one gentlemen who was so amazed at Hakstol's modesty at the booster luncheon, called him a class act. Which he is obviously.

It was an all around great weekend, and all Sioux fans should look to attend the Cornell series if it happens again in the future. I will. I enjoyed meeting the other MD Sioux fans for drinks after the game.

Thanks again for taking our picture. The weekend was great and I hope to see you at future games.

  3. Great pics. Thanks for sharing.Looks like a cool ittle barn they play in.What was that all over the ice during introductions?

Newspapers. When the visiting team is introduce the students act like they are reading the newspaper. When the introductions for the visiting team is complete they throw their newspaper on to the ice. It was pretty funny.

  4. We had a great time in Ithaca and at the games at Cornell. Overall the Cornell fans were great with some of them being almost in awe that North Dakota came out there to play. These were the most common questions/comments made by other fans:

    1. Did you drive all the way from North Dakota?

    2. Your uniforms are really green. "Wow, they are so green!"

    3. North Dakota is wearing different uniforms tonight! (Comment made in the 2nd period of Saturday night's game.)

    4. What is your team's ranking? To which we replied with our national poll ranking, our Pairwise ranking, and our WCHA ranking. (After which, the woman from Cornell left glossy-eyed).

    5. Do fans back where you live have funny chants like we do?

    6. Our arena seats 4000+. Does your arena have that many?

    7. We live in Framingham, MA, and it's funny. No one knows anything about North Dakota there.

    8. Have you ever seen the movie "Fargo"?

And for the Cornell fan that complained about the referees all night and yelled "You moron!" when Gregoire scored the empty net goal......GET OVER IT!!!!!!!

    Let's Go Sioux!!

  6. Thanks, Red Frog!! Do you know if this will show all of the ESPNU games? Sorry, I didn't check yet.

Take care of yourselves out there in North Dakota!!! Our prayers are with you.

  7. BU is a beatable team. Don't get me wrong, they are a very good team but like all teams they have their issues.

    1) BU tends to play down to their competition. They have only played one top ten team since February and that series ended with both games in a tie.

    2) To have any chance of beating BU, the opposing team must score on their power play.

    3) However, you can
