We are in Section 364 Row 14 (first row from the top) here. . . but having sat in a similar seat in St. Louis last year, it really isn't as bad as it may sound!I don't care where i sit, i am just happy to be going.

My travel plans are:
14 hour flight sydney to LA
4 hour lay-over in LAX
2 hour flight LA to denver
I arrive tuesday night then leave the following monday night to do the same on the way back!!! Ouch!
You do what you have to do. I will leave the "coming from australia" to you. But you come to how many Sioux games per year? People with season tickets just recieved invoices, so i will pay the 5-600 and ride the bus and go to 24 games a year.

it was 1300 but yeah it is a lot, but money wasn't the issue for me, I am just excited to have a great time.
it would have been $1600(single occupancy) for me. Money not issue here either, just could not bring myself to shell out that much money.

You are correct it is not under Al Peason group but PEPSI CENTER TEAM TRAVEL GROUP. It really shouldn't matter though as long as you have the code which is GRJTTN. Tell them you want the room from the 10th (Thur) to the 13th (check out). A handful of rooms are reserved for Wed-Sun for those of us driving or flying so make sure you get the Thur - Sun rooms.
All right, just called and i am all set. They gave me the option of 2 double beds or 1 king size. I am traveling by myself, so i took the king. Thanks

UPDATE ON AL's BUSES:
For those of you riding the bus, the rooms are now available at the Quality Inn. To secure your room call 1-877-634-9434, menu prompt 2 and give the customer service rep the following code: GRJTTN. We are registered under AL PEARSON GROUP. All you will need to do is give your name and credit card number to reserve the room. You have until 3:00 Monday to reserve the room. Al will be contacting everyone this weekend to make sure that those without computers are taken care of.
Al would also like to inform everyone that they (because of curling at the Ralph) will now be leaving from the new county jail parking lot at the fairgrounds. Bus loads at 6:30 am and leaves at 7:00 am sharp.
I called and gave them the code and they said it was for the "Pepsi center team travel group". I told them it was for the AL PEARSON group and they did not know what i was talking about. They also said that the rooms were booked from 9 Apr -13 Apr. We should not be getting there until the 10th right. Am i missing something here?

On Friday at the Hobey Baker ceremony, let's not be idiots and boo Ryan Jones and/or do anything stupid. I agree in being supportive of JPL, but don't ruin a guy's day when he doesn't deserve it. It's not Ryan Jones' fault he is in the hat trick and not JP.
I can see some people being dumb, so let's be classy about it.

I'm a huge fan too, but unable to go. I have three tickets for sale - Section 364- face value ($500) or best offer. Reply here if interested. I've been to a couple Frozen Fours and because there are a lot of empty seats (other teams' fans not attending), it is very easy to move down to seats in the lower level. Why pay for lower level seats when you can just move down?
All the seats are the same price. right?

That is a crime that JPL was left out. I for one will not be attending the Hobey presentation in denver.

Anyone heard if Al has had any more luck scoring Hotel rooms. I talked to him on tuesday morning and he still had not. I don't want to keep bugging him, just wondering if anyone else has talked to him since and if things have changed.

I think we are on the same flight back to MSP, maybe the same flight out. I am driving down from GF Wednesday night.

Is it better to go with a Park and Fly outfit?
Some hotels have a "Stay and Fly" deal where you can leave your vehicle there and take their shuttle to the airport. Has anyone tried this?
