  1. it is not becoming a tip-toeing gopher-hugger....whether we are playing the Huskies, the Seawolves, the Badgers, the Pios, the Tigers, the Gophers, the Eagles, the whatever....it reflects poorly on the person with the sign, our entire fan base, and our team to show that much lack of class. Annoucers/Radio Guys/Coaches/Players and their personal lifes are not something that should even be considered to be put on a sign.

Dubay, Tyler Hirsch, and Nate Hagemo are people who made mistakes and DO NOT deserve to be brought up time and time again. No one does, and if you would rather think of it this way....what if it was BE or Duncs or Kozie or Joe or Zach Jones, or whoever on our team that opposing teams were doing this to? Or how would you feel if you were that person's family or friends or that person.

All I am asking is that whether you are making a joke or actually thinking about doing something, show a little class please.

How about a sign that says:

Dagies and Siouxforeverbaby want to know where Dubay is? :D:D

Just kidding and having some fun. Just because people come up with stuff like that does not mean they are really going to make a sign bashing those guys. I think most people on here have pretty good judgement and would not sink down to the dubay level just to get on TV. we are just having fun.

  2. My Wife and I have General Admission tickets and plan to stand in the Bar behind the club seats. I think the point of a General Admission ticket is to allow you to get in the door. As long as there is an open seat (or open space for that matter) anywhere in the Ralph, it is fair game!

No i don't think that is the point of general admission. General admission seats are any seat in section 307-310 that is open, is fair game. if your theory was correct then everyones ticket would say General Admission.

  3. Like I said, it hurts when the shoe is on the other foot doesn't it. If you can't take it, maybe you shouldn't dish it out.

Like i said, if you want to discuss this further, you know where you can find me. Other than that, if you are not interested in the ticket i have for sale, then we have nothing else to discuss. Let me warn you, you have already been reported to moderators, so if you wish to continue your nonsense, come find me.

For everyone else, my ticket is still available, and let me apologize for beebsb010, sometimes people just don't know how to behave on internet forums, and are to scared to deal with matters in person, so they hide behind a keyboard.

  4. Just a reminder to all involved in the current discussion, this from the Forum Terms and Rules in the upper left corner:

"No personal attacks, defamation, or libel"

I see name-calling in the "personal attack" column. Let's keep it civil.

Yes, i agree, i am just trying to sell a ticket to the Sioux gopher game. I am not sure why this person is throwing personal attacks at me. If this person wishes to confront me in person, and discuss this further, they can find me in section 314 row k seat 1 at the 3 January game. Good Day

  5. Besides our student section, our home crowd is terrible. It's easy to cheer when something good happens, every fan base does that. Good crowds cheer all the time, and loud. I sat outside the student section for the first time during the Sat. night Anchorage game and almost fell asleep. It's really disappointing that people treat the place like a lounge instead of a hockey rink.

I agree. If you stand up and try to cheer and get some energy going they all just sit there and look at you like we are in church or something.

  6. You are kidding right? What's it take 10 minutes tops to be on your way.Poor excuse. It is your money though but the traffic excuse made me chuckle a bit.

Last night was not even worth putting up with 10 minutes of traffic.

  7. While it may have probably already been said elsewhere, last night's game is more proof that hockey is a sometimes funny and an always great game, and that a three goal lead, no matter how late, is nothing. The Sioux damn near tied that game and it would have been precious for many reasons, including beating all of the fans who were long in their cars or already at home out of a thrill. As it was, it was thrilling none the less.

A certain WCHA home crowd in the Twin Cities is famous for leaving the arena early while the outcome is still in doubt. I would hate to someday have our knowledgeable and faithful home crowd be compared with the high crying and early leaving crowds from venues south and east.

Folks, we pay hard earned money, or at least most of us do, for our tickets to the greatest show on earth. Why rob ourselves of time at the show by packing it out before the final whistle? Those with young kids or other pressing needs excepted, I think that the throngs of folks who left the arena early last night should sit for at least two minutes today and feel shame.

New game, new story, tonight. Another beauty of The Game.

No shame felt here!! There my tickets, i can leave early if i want. To me, it is not worth putting up with the traffic for a group of kids that didn't show up to play for 57 minutes last night. I love the Sioux, but sometimes i can only take so much. I will be back there again tonight cheering them on, hopefully last night was a gut check and the leaders on the team will back up there talk from the post game show. I really, hope. Just my opinion, it is not meant to offend anyone.
