What a good game, great attendance, and most stayed for almost the whole game. Things I saw that looked good today; Defense: Played almost flawless, great goal line D with 4 straight stops in close! Offense: slow start, picked it up in the 2nd and 3rd, Chappell played out of his mind, 2 straight 90+ yd rush. What I was wondering is when Aug was 2nd and goal on the 4 and out stop, when the tight end was wide open; Anyone know why that wasn't ruled a catch? Butt on the line? bobbled ball? And I give kudos to Auggies Punter that pulled in a would be blocked punt and made a good hustle for a first down. But with that all aside, great Sioux win!!! That was my last Sioux football game of the season, and I'm glad it turned out the way it did!

Congrats to RR for the decade mark, I remember playing with/against Smith when he was a middle schooler, lol/.

What I've heard is that with channel 4 and channel 11 merging they might have wanted him to either simule-cast(sp?) or be on both stations, and they money wasn't working out. I don't think it has anything to do with his previous actions or problems, just the big wigs in Dallas wanting to cheap out or change the direction of their program.

I thought it was a pretty fun game. Attendance was better than I expected, and the game was a pretty decent pace for an exhibition. Stafford played a good deal of shifts, but didn't look 100%. Goering warmed the bench just fine, and Vanek got booed during introductions. There was really no penalties or stoppage, which made the game just a hair under 2 1/2 hours. There were a few missed goals and posts hit by both teams, which added some excitement. If Parrish would have gotten the in-between-the-legs goal, the game would have been amazing and would be SC Top Plays worthy. Plus I got a few autographs from Brad Bombardier, so all in all a great NHL exhibition game at the Ralph. I can't wait until OCT 7th!!!!!

As the title says, I'm looking to get a Holy Cross jersey like the one that was worn against UM and UND. I heard that they sold off a bunch of them to Sioux fans, so I was wondering if anyone has one they are willing to get rid of. The style I am looking for is the one like this. I found this style from another member on here, but I am trying to find the purple/white one if at all possible. Thanks to anyone who can help, you can either reply on this topic or pm me if your interested.

any updates on this? Will the Swift be available for the exhibition game, or later on in the season??? Also, any rumors that there will be retro jerseys available for the HOF game this year??? Plus if anyone has a Holy Cross jersey they want to sell, I'm interested.

The might be able to make it if they were matched up against section 8 or section 2 first round, but that would be the end of it.

x2 MN>ND. We made it to MN state in 2002 (my senior year), and probably the best tennis players I have ever seen were there. Don't get me wrong, RR has been completely dominating in ND for the last decade or so. But I would like to see RR or South play any of the teams from MN Section 4 or 5.

Yeah some are ok, and some are horrible. I say x2 on the Ebay shopping for NHL Jerseys. Heres the ones I think look good; Canucks, Capitols, Panthers, Islanders, Blue Jackets, Hurricanes, Flames. And the ones that made me think WTF; Ducks(never liked the logo changed before), Dallas (no star, no jersey), Leafs (boring).

Meek played today with a huge elbow pad on, and seemed to be playign really good.

Agassi vs roddick was the best non-sioux event in the Ralph. Just seeing the arena turned into a tennis stadium was hard to believe. I know not many people are avid tennis fans, but for those who are that was an opportunity that this area would never have gotten without the Ralph. The closest thing to pro tennis this area could get(not counting the occasional womens exhibitions in mpls/st.paul) would be when the US Open Series makes stops in Cinci, and thats not even close. Plus it even added a little Sioux-Gopher rivalry game between the Jensen brothers and some U of M tennis players. And also you can say that not only do the Sioux own the gophers in the Ralph in hockey, but also in tennis.

I'm gonna hope for Oct 2nd or 4th, otherwise I won't be in the state. I can't remember if they usually do it before or after the exhibition game.
