Well looks like ESPN is going to Fargo. As much as I dont want to say it, very cool opportunity for NDSU.

1. My first full season. 1996-1997. We would always do the "rush seating" and never had a problem getting a seat. I remember one game against N Mich or someone we put up over 10 goals and had over 80 shots i think. All I remember is that the PA announcer couldnt keep up with the scoring in one period. I also had a sign that I made for when they won the WCHA title that one of the players wanted a picture with, so they brought me down to the locker room durign the celebration. Seriously, thats the moment as a kid that I was hooked on Fighting Sioux Hockey.
2. Aaron Vikar stepping in front of the net and taking the rapid fire shots from everyone at the same time at the end of warmups.
3. Getting to interview Dean Blais and Jason Blake during one of their practices. Blake and Kvalevog signed a stick for me. And I got to miss a day of school.
4. The atmosphere in the Old Ralph is hands down the best ever. Loved learning all the chants. Cant believe how loud it got.

I am roasting a leg of lamb for my pre-game meal. What's everyone else doing to fill the empty hours before puck drop? Anyone twiddling their thumbs or watching that niche sport, lacrosse?

I actually received the jersey I won in Tuesdays auction on Thursday. I haven't gotten mine from Wednesdays auction yet. Was kind of pissed they didn't ship them together to save me $11, but oh well.

I don't think I was bidding on that one. I may have put in one or 2 early, but the Dazzle Eids, White Hextall and White Dell were the ones I was fighting for.
I wish I would have known I could have picked them up, because I was in town on Thursday but now I'm back in Winnipeg for a month. I wish they would provide more information after winning the auction on pick up/shipping options and tracking information. I felt pretty in the dark after paying a decent amount for some jerseys. Does anyone have a contact # that I can call Today On Monday On Tuesday morning? I just want to know if it will be shipped and on what day.

Yeah it's been Tech at UND 1st round 4 out of the past 6 years.
I predict UND in 2 and going to their 11th straight Final Five appearance (Next closest is Denver and Duluth with 4 straight). Go Sioux!!!

I'm excited for the last WCHA regular season game for UND, CC, DU, UNO, SCSU, MN, and UW. I hope it's as exciting as last night was. If anyone is interested in condensed scoreboard watching, follow me on twitter and i'll be posting all WCHA scoring updates. I did it last night and found it to be pretty fun. Sorry for the self promoting.....
