I'm not going to name names, but one newspaper reporter who covers a WCHA team told me that when he wanted to write an article about how well a particular goalie was playing, the coach told him he didn't want the article written. The reporter wrote and published the article anyway. The next game, the goalie played horrible and the team lost. The coach chewed out the reporter for jinxing the goalie and causing the loss.

No I'm not! My post was in reference to when the Sioux played SCSU at the Final Five, not when they played at St. Cloud.

Yes. They wore the black on Friday against SCSU.

According to Brad Schlossman's hockey blog, the Sioux wore the black uniforms for the second game of the Denver series which they won 3-0.

I'll let the Sioux players deal with that aspect, thank you.

I'm writing a feature for USCHO about the black Nike Swift uniforms and I'd like some input from Sioux fans on what you think of them. If you want to leave written comments supporting your vote, I'll consider using them, too.

I've never belonged to a frat and never had any desire to. So it's not like I feel any need to defend them. But making accusations targeting a group with absolutely no proof is just plain wrong, especially when there are a broad range of possibilities. You wouldn't like it if someone pointed the finger at group to which you belonged, would you?

And UND doesn't own Engelstad Arena or the Alerus Center.
