Whatever number UND takes into the SC, they have to have that number of sports for 8 years. So, if they're cutting a sport or two they have to do it very soon.

Last year's freshmen weren't asked to do all the much because of all the talent around them. Between those 11 now sophomores and 8 freshmen, yeah, you see a team that looks flustered at times.

I was going to ask the same question when Miller FOIAed the school and broke a story. I also thought Brad and Tom worked on the story when the finalization of switching leagues was happening.

That was a very smart move by the Gophers. During B1G football games, moving from the football stadium to the rink is a short walk and you don't need to lose your buzz.

I will give him a little slack for playing all those games with only one game off since he acquired. Physically and mentally the guy had to be a little drained. If they can sign him to a one year deal for 4-5 mil that would be the way to go. Highly doubt that happens as some team will offer a 3 year deal to him.
He only missed one or two games down the stretch and he probably needs a recharging.

Schmaltz was drafted by the Windsor Spitfires of the OHL.

The story that Andy Baggot wrote about Eaves going to talk to Osiecki, it sounded like Barry Alvarez gave Eaves a blank check for his next assistant coaches. Andy Johnson hinted to Harbinson being sought after by Eaves on his recent visit to Western Canada.
Eaves might be picking his replacements if this season doesn't go better.

My buddy works for an insurance firm and the ACA is going to decimate hospitals and the insurance companies. The ACA is actually going to tax fishing tackle to pay for this mess. One of the democrats that helped write this mess said that Obama Care is going to be train wreck. Max Baucus.

To be honest with you, I am not a fan of ALL-Through aka Altru. My spouse has worked there for 10+ years and during one of her hospital stays she almost died because of poor care. I was not happy; thank God her friend, who’s also a nurse, while visiting her, caught the errors.
During the economic downturn in 2009, they used that as an excuse to cut the employees premium pay. That’s a big chunk out of their pay check gone. There’s no incentive to work on your off days when they call you in. They’re always understaffed and wanting people to come in on their off days.
Now, she goes to a review, gets a raise and is told she can no longer make any higher rate of pay, she’s maxed out. Grand Forks is ripe for a new competing hospital…

Top recruit? Hardly. Maybe from an NHL draft standpoint, but he was going to have an uphill battle to get playing time this year. Minnesota is pretty deep defensively this season. And out of all the commits coming in, I doubt he would have had the biggest impact. Guys like Cammarata and Kloos will be 3-4 year guys who have a larger impact. He wasn't even our most NCAA ready defensemen coming in. Tat would be Brodzinski. And with guys like Collins, Glover, and Lindgren in the pipeline (two of which are coming in next season) and guys like Jack Doughtry still uncommitted, this loss is hardly insurmountable.
Do you smoke a crack pipe and drink before you post on-line? To suggest that this kid wasn't going to have any kind of an impact on the Gophers this season is short sited. You have no idea, just like the rest of us, unless your part of the Gophers coaching staff. Let me guess, you got that information from the Hockey Stalker Hammy? So, what next? Are you suggesting that the Blues wasted a draft pick at 47 on the kid too eh?
