    Hi USA fans!

    My name is Adam Burish, a forward from Madison, Wisconsin, and a member of the Chicago Blackhawks. I will periodically keep a journal here to allow you all to get an inside view as to what our team here is up to, how things are going, and some insight to some of our players.

    This is my first experience having the chance to play for Team USA. It is an absolute thrill and honor to be a part of this world championship team.

    We are currently in the middle of our mini training camp in Portland, Maine. It is a great chance for all of us to get to know each other, and get to know the coaching staff. Since we have been here we have practiced every day. We have a video session every morning going over team details such as our fore check, power play, and penalty kill, so that everybody is on the same page, since every one comes from different teams and different systems during the regular season.

    Fan Bus to Denver

    How many of you on the bus have your tickets in-hand? Seems like everyone who is telling me to "hop on the bus" without tickets and wasn't worried about seats themselves decided to get their 300 level tickets and not take the chance.

    I'm still 90/10. Dad is now on the fence due to weather change in SW ND and calving season.

    New prognosis: 70:30

    I had every intention on not getting tickets until I arrived in Denver, however, when I was searching stubhub this morning, 4 popped up for only $150.00 and they were down on ice level 20 rows up and I couldn't resist. As soon as I purchased them, they were back up to $500 a piece.

    So how are you getting to denver?

    Where is Grandpa on that list? Heard he's not coming -- that's a shame!!!

    I have three tickets for sale - Section 364- face value ($500) or best offer. Reply here if interested. I've been to a couple Frozen Fours and because there are a lot of empty seats (other teams' fans not attending), it is very easy to move down to seats in the lower level. Why pay for lower level seats when you can just move down?

    My wife and I are looking for 2, possibly 3 tickets for all weekend...huge Sioux fans, going regardless but would like to take care of the tickets before we headed out!!     If any of you are having problems finding accomodations in Denver, we booked a condo through www.vrbo.com and got a really nice place close to downtown. We rented a 2 bedroom 2 bath for $275.00 a night for 6 of us...not a bad price when you split the cost and lots of rooms. Check it out.

    Reunion time for AZSIOUX and SIOUXBEAR -- I'm bringing 8 others oh yeah baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    First timers will be my two boys ages 11 & 14...they won't sleep tonight!

    Smart mom award -- I held it to secrecy until we scored in OT...booked my flights over a month ago at $212.00 a person...now they are $718.00....now that's PRICELESS!!!! I would have never heard the end of it if we wouldn't have made it!!!!

    I think the point is that this was not the proper time or place to mention the actions of a few idiots following the Bina hit. It should have been posted in a Bina thread three years ago, not a Pohl thread today.

    Exactly....that was the point I was trying to make, but somehow failed with the words I was using...thanks Dave!

    I said I feel for his family and for him. I think it is horrible what happened to him during a routine play. That is aweful. The thing I have a problem with is remembering the jerks from UMtc that literally starting clapping while Bina laid on the ice. As I said it is those people I have no sympathy for.

    And what I'm saying is, your comments were not necessary under this thread. Take it elsewhere. I'm sure the Pohl family doesn't care to hear about them -- all they care about is making sure their son stays alive and can one day awake from this tragedy.
