You could tell by the way things went to open the 3rd when we were on the power play that someone else was more determined. I said to myself that UND will be lucky to come out of this with a tie......well, some poor decisions made sure that even a tie wouldn't happen.
When BU tied the game i thought to myself "ok i hope the sioux get out of here with a tie". Disappointing to say the least.

I have a hard time understanding fans that analyze line combos. Maybe they're fooball fans that like to watch hockey because it's UND. Do they honestly think they know whats better than Hakstol and co.? This years team has played 6 games.....very small sample size. I know it's fun to speculate which guys would be best together but honestly, it takes time in game situation to have any idea which players work best together. BTW, lets go out this weekend and secure these 4 points!

I think the officials conference had to do with the fact that they are only allowed the overhead angle (I believe this is still the rule, correct me if I'm wrong) to look at the play so they really had no chance to see if the puck was played with a high stick from the video. So in order to make the correct call they all got together to ensure no one saw a potential high stick. I guess it made it difficult on them because the entire state of Alaska was calling for a high stick on the play.
In the end it really wasn't close. I was feeling bad for Anchorage until I slowed it down on my DVR and saw that the puck was like a foot away from Knight's stick.
Exactly right. The rule was put in to play so that all the arenas around the WCHA would be consistent. Of course not all buildings televise their games but they are required to have the overhead cam and that is the only one to be used for review. And I agree the officials were asking the linesmen if anyone saw a high stick before allowing the goal.

That's really close to my mens league ritual too. What do you do when you are a spectator?

Speedway is the one I used to always use. That was a couple years ago though.

It was always my Monday morning routine to read the power rankings. A little shocked to read that this morning. Also loved the Friday Four-Cast and how they'd portray North Dakota's fans in a fun way.

Not trying to be overly sensitive here, but what is the policy with regards to swear words? I think it is a bit much the amount of swearing that goes on and it is not conducive to a family friendly site.

He was drunk and the story in the paper according to a teammate,. who I got to know pretty good, of his the story he told was pure BS. He was trying to get away from a pissed off boyfriend.
