It would take a couple of upsets in the first round for the rule to matter this year. It's when Minnesota is a 2 or 3 then it sort of pisses me off. The play-in winner on Thursday night has to turn around and play Friday afternoon against a bye team? Dumb.

When I bought NCAA Football 2003, they kicked Northwestern out of the conference to accomodate us.

Depends on the timeframe. Short-term, the latter is more plausible of course. Long-term, I could see the former happening.

I can see the above mentioned joining the Valley for all sports before a Summit football league.
