  1. I'd like to echo what a few here have already said.. the fans in Omaha were awesome all of them were friendly and walking out of the rink a few thanked us for coming to town. Definately a road trip that I would like to make again in the future.

Sioux Sweep 6-2 4-1 (All goals from Frattin) ;)

How long does is take to drive from GF to Omaha?

  2. We don't get the Big Ten network where I live unfortunately, so I couldn't watch that one. I do get CBS college sports and the Bemidji area PBS channel in HD for free which is how I got to watch the BSU/UNO and BU/BC games. I also get FSN North in HD so the only game I didn't get to watch in HD was the UND game, unfortunately. It would be perfect if we could get FSSN in HD...

  3. With the potential lockouts in the NFL and NBA next year, the NHL and college hockey could have a tremendous exposure opportunity!

Two weekends ago, I was able to watch four college hockey games on tv at once: UND vs SCSU, UM vs MSU-M, BSU, VS UNO, and BU vs BC. It was good to see college hockey getting that much air time! Granted the BSU vs UNO game was on local Bemidji PBS channel and probably only available to a limited audience, but it's a start!

  4. I'd like to see New Hampshire come back soon. When they played in GF a few years back, I had to miss the series because of a funeral. They are at the top of my list of schools to see play now, probably.

When it comes to playing schools like Robert Morris, UND believes in scheduling the small and up and coming programs to help them build up thier programs. Sure, it's not very exciting to see Robert Morris come to the REA, but if it is for the greater good of college hockey, then it is fine with me!

  5. It is naive to think that one man can set the price of oil to his liking. I'm no expert on oil, but I do know there are many factors involved in the price of a barrel of oil.

It's not just one man, it's the whole industry working together. They put W there so they could manipulate events to thier benefit.

  6. I'm sure a lot of people hope that is true.

Myself, I'm hoping it gets up to about $4.50/gal and stays there.

That'll turn the heat up on developing alternatives.

Once we have alternatives in place, everything is gravy after that. It's just getting there that is going to suck.

The people that are making billions of dollars off of the oil industry are too politically powerful to let anything new be developed that will ruin thier monopoly. The price of a barrel of oil was $20 in 200 and is now around $100. That's what happens when you put an oil crony in as president. Too many powerful people are making too much money for things to change...

  7. The green out wasn't really impressive because of all of the different shades of green out there. If everyone would wear a green jersey, it would look good but that will never happen...
