  1. My money says TJ and Hak could care less what all of you people think. Hell, in a couple of weeks it won't matter, it will be business as usual for Hak and the rest of the coaching staff. As for TJ, he will be in the NHL making millions, and none of this will be a concern for him. The only thing that will remain constant is that people will find something/someone else to whine about.

You are spot on....the newspaper in the city in which I live had Hak's suspension on the front page of the sports today. Keep in mind that they seldom report a Sioux score, included nothing on Duncan winning the Hobey or anything discussing the Sioux players helping out in Northwood. But one little screw up by the coach and that is headline news....I want to cancel my subscription!

Did Hak make a mistake....of course he did, in one moment he reacted before thinking. It happened, he apologized...get over it! I have had the opportunity to meet Hak on several occasions - his demeanor, his actions, his poise, his character, represent UND in the highest regard.

    What a joke...this is such a "non-event".

  2. Wow what an evening! I know many of you won't care what a gopher fan has to say but, its why this media is available.

    1. Hak' flicking the bird is an embarrassment to college hockey. He is a leader, a coach and a representative of UND. Embarrassing.

You are soo right.. the TDON, Mr Oko, nevemind is so the man. Hak is awesome, and I would not have it any other way,,,icluding Blais!!

  3. No, I think it was Kaip. But still, you're right: that wasn't Chorney's fault.

    Me too.

The shot of Hak was really quick, but I thought I saw the bird. He and I have talked many times about other coaches losing their composure during a game and costing their teams. So I was really surprised when my eyes saw what appeared to be the bird. I know for sure he dropped a couple f-bomb. It don't take a degree in lip reading to figure that one out.

Now THAT I didn't hear. And that is also very surprising.

I don't have a clue who you are but i always agree with you...sorry!

  4. Did I say they weren't homers? There are some idiot Gopher fans out there, I'll agree with that, I thought I was going to have to fight one after the Final 5 a few years back; but there are also some level-headed fans out there too. Just an FYI, every fanbase has their share of idiots, including ours. We have enough to give back to plenty of villages.

News flash.... we are giving you back. :D

  5. I am amazed at this board - dissing other out Sioux fans to save face for the Gopher fans. I really could care less what any of you think of me , but the bottom line is that I am a Fighting Sioux Fan and will stick up for other Sioux fans. The gophs dive, alway complaion and bitch about how they were screwed over, blah blah blah. Enough of the love fest.. the gophers are a bunch of douche pumpers!

  6. I'm just not impressed with Lapoint. He is not physical at all. He has some skill, but you have to be able to hit in this league. I think Chorney's early season slump was in part due to his being paired with Lapoint. Agree with DAR, that's why I'm not coaching, but I played a while, and watch a lot. Lapoint reminds me of a slightly less skilled...dare i say it on this board?...Brian Lee :D

LaPoint, in my humble opinion, has had a very good start to his Sioux career along with Marto. Although not overly agressive, I think he will adjust to the speed and the physical nature of the WCHA. He will be an impact player at UND and from my vantage point has been steadily improving as the season has progressed. It will be interesting to see him back in the line up. My prediction is that he will have a great weekend!

  7. Thanks!

And I too would be interested to see Genoway playing on a line with Duncan and Oshie.... I love the way that Chay plays! He'll drive to keep the puck in the zone while other players will simply chase it out of the zone and set up again.

Great idea - maybe the spark needed for the drive to # 8.

  8. I guess I'm not following you here. Show me the Radke bashing in this thread you are referring to.

Lee, Bina, JT,Greene and TJ are just beng brought up now, so lets leave them out of it.

He is just going fishing and seeing if anyone will bite....I am not hungry. :D

  9. Don't you think that some fans do it because it bugs Gopher fans? I think Ness or Lee would look great in green and white as i am sure you think Kristo or Mattson would look good with a M on their chest.

Ness can flat out play. It will be interesting to see how he makes the transistion to D-1 - he could very well be scary good!
