I think Radke brings alot of intangibles to the game...hope the gamble pays off tonight. Radke will play a huge part yet this season.

Ditto - I miss his insight but get over it already. I have gone to USCHO several times and have concluded that this site is far superior. Now if you rip on me, I may take my toys and go play.....nevermind... I love you guys.....

Obviously, flaming LaPoint only shows pettiness and a need to walk away for a while.
IMO there has been constructive criticism re: LaPoint with virtually every poster realizing that there is a learning curve in the WCHA for frosh defensemen with the only "pettiness" being directed at Genoway which is laughable.
I like LaPoint but believe he needs to elevate his game while Chay is out. I have every confidence that he can do that but the fact remains he needs to play better than he has over the last several weeks.

Genoway's absence was particularly noticeable when the Sioux were trying to break out of their own zone; lots of hesitation and indecision on the part of d-men.
Losing Evan is a bad deal; losing Genoway is a serious deal.
Agree 100% - Genoway is the spark plug on this team and he will be needed for the quest to #8.

Terrible call and to say anything but that is pure B.S. He was pushed into the goal and then the goalie chased him down and pushed him around....and VV gets a penalty - what a joke.

Of course no one would ever add on that latter part when talking about the Fighting Sioux, it would just be a formality.

I know there has been a lot of over sensitivity on this board over the last week, and I hate to add something that others may feel as over sensitive, but I just can't keep my mouth shut. I absolutely can not stand when people at their team to the end of the national anthem. This is the one point in the game where every person in the arena should be thinking about the men and women who have given everything for their country. It is not a time to promote a sports team. I think, and this is just my opinion, that inserting your team's name in place of the Brave is completely disrespectful. This debate seems to come up several times a year, and I apologize for bringing it up yet again. This is just an issue that I felt I couldn't keep to myself. My apologies for going completely off topic.
Lighten up Francis....life can be fun sometimes...if you let it.

another thing gwoz boy, you talk about code of conduct then why in the hell was vosbergs helmets on while he was trying to throw punches as radkes was off right away?? answer that?? oh yeah, radke had to throw punches with one hand and wrestle the guys helmet off with the other so he didnt break his hands? wheres the conduct there ya little weasel?

Hate to admit it but I am an AVID Vikes fan so it sucks to be me as they just always dissapoint.....spoken like a true Vikes fan however, there is always next year.
At least I can say my choice for hockey teams is sussessful....#8 in 2008!!!

I have to agree with redwing77 here. I'm a Bears fan from birth, good or bad, they're my team. Living in ViQueen county, I get to see their fans up close and personal. Sorry slapshot but when your team is having a bad year, the fans are jumping ship right and left. We Bears and Packer fans are in the stands, cheering our team on AND crying into our beers when they do bad (beers sales are always up in the Windy City, ). But we're there!! Can't say the same for the ViQueen fans. Of course this is IMHO.
