3-1 Fargo South on top of DL 5 mins left

No...It's because GFC was towards the bottom of the East Region for a majority of this year but still got in as the 5th seed. They lost their first game at EDC to West Fargo (a team that i think should be at State), went in to two overtimes with Jamestown (#8 seed) and then they got a upset to work in their favor and played a weaker team than they should've (FN #6 seed rather than Grafton #3 seed) and got into the State tourney. The Double-elimination set-up usually tries to make it so the 1-4 seeds make it to state...but this year 1, 2, 3, 5.

GF Central is squeaking in again...You can't tell me that they should be in the State semi-finals right now. I don't think so anyways... 2-1 Fargo South over DL with 12mins left in 2nd

Is anyone going to attend Chicago Showcase this year or know anyone that might be attending it this year? I wouldn't mind knowing how our ND guys do come April...also if someone could post the roster after they have named the team it would be great. GO WEST OR GRAFTON!

Home Ice Advantage.... I think it is even when teams go to the State Tournament at the Ralph, except for the West teams but who can blame their fans for not coming when it is like an entire day's drive from williston, hazen and a couple of the others out there. But for the most part Ralph is neutral. However, at the EDC Tournament I think a majority of the students from GFC or RR pretty much get the day off to go watch the games at Purpur arena...their home ice. You can't tell me that Thursday and even Friday's earlier games that the crowds were even. I thought Grand Forks had a very full section compared to others. As far as that goes--crowd does affect the play of the away team. For example after getting a "Sieve" chant on a goalie definitely can't help his play after the opponent scores a goal. I just think with school going on the fans from out-of-town teams will not show as much as the in-town fans. Basically because of the homework or the drive that they would have to take to get there.

I saw a couple of posts earlier about the Bismarck and Red River game and how that is going to go. If Hillman is such a good goalie then I think he could hold them to 2-3. I mean the goalie for Jamestown held Red River to 6 goals with over 50 saves, 4 goals with over 40 shots, and in the edc 1st round game I think he only gave up 5 because I think the last one was an empty netter. I don't know how many shots they got on the Crookston goalie or the EGF goalie but I'm sure they got quite a few and only one goal and 4 goals in those games. So I think goalies do better against Red River with a lot of shots against them. I think it is a good chance that Hillman could have a great game because I think Bismarck is better than Jamestown.

I think that will be an interesting game. 3 games in 3 days and they logged extra minutes with both teams going into double overtimes. I think that Central will come out on top in the end and my prediction is GF Central 4 Fargo North 3

Just watched the news...kinda upset about the games they chose to put on. I thought they would have the close Jamestown/Central game on tv so I could see some of the things that happened...

any new updates on the North/South game?...keep 'em coming. What happened in the second that was different in the first?

About the biggest things.... I dunno if you can say that there is a biggest disappointment of the year...the year is not over yet and records dont count for anything but seeding from here on out...new season...all records are 0-0 in my book.
