not one south kid tried out... And to all who is surprised by GFC having 3 D on that list, they are very deserving. GFC was not a great team, but they had great defensemen and also they already proved you wrong once again this year by taking 3rd place in the state...only losing to the eventual state champs.

Kinda surprised at the Minot goalie getting in after letting in 6 goals... I thought maybe Houkom would get in...

Yeah Team White tenders didn't get a break either really. They had a goalie practice in between their 2 games of the day. I would imagine that takes a toll on a body...

I found out the Goals Against for goalies in the scrimmages if anyone cares: Team Green 2-0-0 Guidinger = 1, Dehne = 2 Team Black 0-1-1 Houkom = 3, Bown = 6 Team White 0-1-1 Grothman = 3, Kringstad = 5 Still waiting on the rosters though...I don't know who got goals this weekend but I'm sure the expected players got some of the goals like Mihulka and Campbell I am sure...

any update on the team nd roster or when that is coming out?

I know McBain played Predators but I don't know if he played selects. Even if he plays east or west...those point totals are pretty impressive...

I have heard that Tyrel McBain might not play at Hazen next year but rather some other high school, is there any truth to this or is it another rumor?

That's pretty interesting...I didn't think they did terrible at EDC...They did beat Grafton as a #6 seed. I didn't think they did too bad representing themselves at that seed although I did think they played badly against GF Central. Anybody from Grafton gonna try-out?

In Galt's first game Lincoln lost 4-2 to Tri-City...Don't know if he had any points I just caught the last little bit of the game on the radio. Mario Lamoreaux got a goal but I'll post back if I find out that Galt got any points...if not no new post will be added..

From my area: Jamestown... I think Ritchie and Grothman are going to try-out for Team ND for J-town. There might be a couple others but I don't know. Those two, I would think, are the 2 from Jamestown that would have a legit chance of making the team. No All-Conference players from Jamestown but these two received honorable mention and Ritchie made All-Conference last year. Not too shabby for him considering the crop of players from last year... I heard Welk's name was mentioned but I am not so sure that he would do it. As far as I know he is not interested in playing hockey after high school. From what I hear he is running for National President of DECA and I think that would interfere with Team ND. ND Pride might be able to verify or give more than me since he is from that area... Also, I think you can bold Wedin on that list also. I am pretty sure I heard he was interested in trying out.

Wilbur do you talk to Jordan Willert at all? I was just wondering if you know his plans for next year. Is he going to stay at Tri-City or go to college or what? Also if anyone knows what Mario Lamoreaux and Jordan McIntyre are going to do next year that would be nice to know also? Anybody know where this year's high school kids are going next year that would be good to know also. (Team ND tryouts, Juniors -A, B, or C, College) just wondering so I can track them a little bit.

I wouldn't be surprised if we get 2 upsets tomorrow. From what I hear RR and FS were lackluster and GFC and Grafton were great. That's just what I hear...

Thank you... I figured they would beat Minot, usually it is the East that wins all of their opening games... However at EDC if Grafton would've beat North that first game I say that WF is at State right now and GFC isn't, but that isn't how it went...
