Well iit's new years eve & in the next several days we'll be having the fight for the national championship. That being Florida vs Ohio State. Better known as the GATORS vs the BUCKEYES. Now everyone knows who i'm pulling for hey it's a no brainer with me. As everyone knows I gradutated from UF & ONCE A GATOR ALWAYS A GATOR. Anyway, two things I look for in this game. One it being close & two it also being high scoring. My predication (please forgive me for my lousy spelling). GATORS 49 BUCKEYES 45. Now everyone else can put their two cents & from the GATORNATION GO GATORS CHOMP ON THOSE BUCKEYES.

So UND should quit now and tell the NCAA that they were right in calling, not only our state, but our University hostile and abusive? Maybe the all of the athletic teams should just give up now and forget about the rest of their seasons. AND maybe since we're all going to die someday, we should just stop eating, because seriously-why?!

There's one thing that's got me worried a little bit here & that is the following. Is Michigan Tech that good or were we really that bad or a was it a combationation (lousy spelling) of both? The only compromise is for the NC$$ to recognize that they are not the social conscience for colleges, athletes and fans. God gave us free will and the First Amendment gave us freedom of speech. If you choose to be offended by words and pictures, that's your choice. If we want to use a particular name and logo, the constitution gives us that right.

Looks like the parties had a telephone conference with the Judge and they pushed the trial date back to December 2007.
First, mksioux thanks for the information on this latest development. Second, as I readed the article in the Herald (I think I spell that right if not please forgive me for my lousy spelling.) The judge suggest to me was an idea of a out of court settlement. Hey that's how I see it. My spin on that is simple. NO. The day UND & the NCAA reach a settlement is when hell freezes over & the devil goes ice skating. After all let's agree on one thing the NCAA wouldn't know the truth even if they were standing in a fresh pile of it. GO GATORS CHOMP ON OHIO STATE ON JAN 8.

Well here's my two cents on this post. First of all i'm from Tampa Fl & in Sept of 1973 until April of 1975 I was station at GFAFB from there i was station in England until I left the service. Anyway I got my first taste of watching hockey of any sorts at a UND game in 1973. Hey I didn't know what hockey was after all i'm from the south and the only three sports are football & spring football & NASCAR. I graduated from the University of Florida & i'm a proud GATOR. Remember once a GATOR always a GATOR. I have been a FIGHTING SIOUX HOCKEY FAN SINCE 1973 & I will always be that hockey fan. After all they say that life begins at birth & that's a given, but my adult life began at Grand Forks & Grand Forks & UND have a very special place in my heart & they will always have a very special place in my heart. So in closing "GO SIOUX."

Oh dear, maybe this is classless, but I agree with Hockeymom. I mean, when she says something like this after being such a steadfast supporter of the ladies, you have to take notice.
I can't wait to see what they do. It's too bad because Paul Collotino (Hockeymom, my spelling sucks, help me out?) would have been the obvious choice.
I would agree with the both of you on this one.

The NFL network has been having college score updates on Saturdays all football season. I guess they figure NFL fans want to look at and hear about the future NFL players as well.

I look at this series to be a knock down drag out fight to the finish. Give no quater, take no quater (please forgive me for my lousy spelling but you get the idea.) Both teams battling tooth & nail to the final buzzer. I'll be happy with a split if we sweep that would be great also.
