  1. I have sold 2 tickets and now have 3 left for Friday for $60.
  2. I have 5 tickets for sale in Section 315 for Friday's game on 3-14 for $100. If you are interested please e-mail jamigage@hotmail.com.
  3. Have 2 tickets available in section 306 Row B, asking $50 for the pair. Please call 701-370-1481 if interested. TICKETS HAVE BEEN SOLD.
  4. Why wasn't Ryan LaDouceur playing? if he did not play, that does impact a large amount of the Red River game. Galbreath and LaDouceur log a lot of ice time on the blue line, and are possibly 2 of the best defensemen in the state, if not the best 2.
  5. That is such a good post. You start by calling him anry, and what is a siv?? How is he #8 goalie in the state if I may ask? By adding up all goalies who play in even 1 single game? I think Grafton is overlooked this year a little because their go-to guys are all Juniors and everyone looks to next year for them, but they can be this year's champs. Should be good games. Jealous of Arnason much??
  6. So stopping 35/38 against a very good Grafton team, but coming up on the losing end is being overrated? He's played on every top level team possible, USA festival, Elite team, U-16 team that went to nationals and won (with him in the nets). Give Grafton credit, they are a very good hockey team, and they showed it on Saturday. These 2 teams will hopefully meet 2 more times (EDC final, State final) giving the crowd 2 very good games!
  7. I hope he does make it. Just for all the nay-sayers who say he can not make it. As for the comment about pre-season games. He played in 2 games for the Chicago Steel in the regular season, prior to the ND High School Season.
  8. It gets tiring listening to you constantly bash the talent in the ND HS league this year, or players, or teams. As for the 19 points in 19 games, that means nothing. If he in fact does play in the USHL this spring, then you'll be on here saying how soft the USHL is now. You've got some obvious issues, I suppose Meland is only putting up as many points as he is because the state is so soft.
  9. Wow, lots of people with a dislike for Simonson. Does it bother both of you that he is going to a USHL team, as junior24 posted?
  10. I have 5 tickets for Friday's game against SCSU in section 308. Tickets are not student tickets and are reserved seats. $25 per ticket (face value) If your interested e-mail me at katie.gage@und.edu
  11. The thousands or live and televised events?? It and other words, gestures are used more often than anyone can imagine I bet. Because YOU did not see it, doesn't mean it didn't happen. If cameras would scope in on coaches more frequently, you would be able to lip read a number of 4-letter words. Give it a rest already. Worse things have happened. It isn't like he left for the locker room with 2 seconds left because his team was losing...........
  12. I agree with you, in fact, I have friends who are Gopher fans. It makes for fun weekends like this one. They were pissed this weekend, and regardless of the close scores, they even say UMN is nowhere near the team UND is. My response was more to the "wait til UND loses in the regional, and then I will finish this." Will the Goofs even make the Final 5? What will the Excel do without the "gopher rule" for night games if they don't? The games were close, UND took 3 of 4, good teams find ways to get points, that is all.
  13. What that has to do with anything........go back to GPL, cry about whatever it is they are crying about over there.
  14. The paper has it listed as saves are 51 for Minot, and 6 for Grafton, that would actually put the shots at 55-9. Considering who they played, I would bet they are pretty close to correct.
  15. You will finish when they get beat in the Regional? You're already finished. You are going to come back and say "I told you so" if UND gets beat in the NCAA tournament? WOW, you are a tool...
  16. Bickel is tough........He's learned from Wheeler, throw a cheapshot and run your mouth, then hide behind the ref. Wheeler sure gave the boards by the penalty box a good shot tonight though after his slashing penalty. What a joke, most overrated player ever drafted that high. He did get that goal at the Final 5 last year though, that makes a career.
  17. Thanks. Pretty much my point. There are not a lot of Red River's out there that have their 3 lines and don't have to change them throughout the year.
  18. Teams that are struggling would. Wow, Central fits that description
  19. Okay, I am pretty sure we have gotten to the point that this is not "tryouts", it's called evaluating players and putting them in the right position. As another poster said, this happens all the time at other schools, and I assume happens at GFC more often than just this week. Why this has taken up a number of posts is not understandable....
  20. Then that is not tryouts. Most high school teams do this all the time. players being evaluated and moved up to varsity or down to junior varsity. Not exactly something new....
  21. Looking for 2 tickets for tonite's game. Anywhere in the arena is fine. Only able to pick them up in Grand Forks. Please call 701-370-1481 if you have any available. Thanks.

  23. The only way they should have won is the way they won, by being ahead as time ran out. Shoulda, Coulda, Woulda. The Roseau-BJ game was played at a speed "double"? Give me a break. You watched the #1 team in the state of MN play, they are good, no argument. Bloomington was no pushover, but they only beat Red River in a Shoot-out to determine a winner, so they are not "DOUBLE" the speed of a ND team with crisper passes, and better scoring opportunities.
  24. Maybe it means that there is more parity in the edc than anyone imagined. That's why you have to show up to play the game. Do you wonder if the South players overlooked Central knowing that they got beat by North and South handed it to North pretty good? Maybe Central had overlooked North, but I think it's more of Central is a young team that is working hard every night. It looked like a 3-team race before the season started, has Central jumped into that race, maybe not as a 1, but as a top 4?
