The suspense was killing me, 15 tackles last season!!

I'm most impressed by his sack against UM-Crookston.  I heard it was epic.

    It was his superbowl.......

How do you see the NCAA stealing from the colleges. The NCAA is the colleges. It's a membership organization and they collectively decide what rules and arrangements they want. The NCAA is not some separate entity that provides rules the schools have to follow.

LOL!!!!!!   This might be the post of the year.  Membership organization......is this pelosi behind the keyboard?

Here's a question that I know the answer to, but I'll ask anyway:

Zimmerman redshirted at EWU in 2015.
He went to a JC in 2016.
He appeared in four games for UND in 2017.
He appeared in six games for UND in 2018.

He's only appeared in three games in 2019 before he went down with an injury.

Any chance he could get a sixth year of eligibility? (I know, I know, slim and none and slim left town. Sixth years are like double-eagles in golf.)

That said, it would be nice to have another QB that knows the system next year.

Otherwise it's Schuster, Grover, and gut ache.

Didn't Scotty Guldseth play like 8 years for the Mens BB team?

That (400, not 500) just affirms my observations.

Can someone toss together a map of where the 24 schools are? I think it'll drive the point home.

    100% agree.

Looking at that bracket, some impressions:

UNI (I can't believe I'm going to say this) got robbed. They're better than Central Arkansas (by far per Massey) and should've been the 8 seed.

You can see the "500 mile" games (SEMO/ISU; SUNYA/CCon; AP/Fur; Wof/KenSU; Mon/HC) that they had to make by rule.

That said --> Grand Forks to Cedar Falls: 527 miles --> no UND at UNI.

When they had six teams left after doing "500 mile" games they had UND, UNI, 'nova, Nicholls, San Diego, SE LA, and they couldn't put SE LA and Nicholls together because they played last week. UNI got the weakest of the six (San Diego, per Massey), UND and 'nova travel (I'm guessing due to massive bids by Southland teams looking for relevance).

I am fairly certain the head of the selection committee yesterday said 400 miles is the limit between driving and flying.  Ticky Tacky I know, but probably doesn't matter much either way.

What in my post makes you think I hope Zimm gets hurt so they have to put somebody else in?  I'm not hoping that at all, we are already on our 2nd string QB the last thing I'd want is another QB to go down, was just commenting on Schuster being listed now as the #2 ahead of Grover.  I do think Boltmann might be able to come in and be effective on a few plays here and there though, but this game is up to Zimm to make it happen.  Hopefully he'll have a better running game Saturday to help him out.  This is about as much of a must win game that you can have in week 3.

    Lighten up Francis.....

No it was bad but not the worst.  I remember a Montana State game in the Alerus.  Their QB was injured and not scheduled to play.  Well he did and the game was over before the half.

Sioux Falls was my rock bottom.  That started the downward spiral of being mediocre.

Not concerned, just didn't see it on his twitter account as was stated.  For !@#$ sakes can't people look at things with a subjective opinion?  I've followed UND football for many yrs and don't see why things that are factual can't be posted without being blasted.

Blasted???????  Didn't seem out of line IMO.

As you said youre not a scientist so your 20 Mt Dews is not fact. You also forgot taking the prework out supplement in your scenario. Plus how active was the player during the game??  Taking a prework out supplement before a game and not getting many snaps is not going to metabolize the supplement very fast.

So now you are inferring Newman was brought in for something other than  motivation . JFC:blink:

    Seriously Lakes.....you're better than this.

If he doesn't get the job because of political detractors, is that petty?

They voted 9-0 for him to be the Presidential candidate.

Final vote will be 6-3 in favor of Kennedy.   Any takers?

Let’s hope for more 6’8” guys that run 5.2s ;)

Odd question.....what did Jimmy K run a 40 in?  I knew he was fast but never heard his best time.

Appreciate the comment!  With all due respect, Minnesota has the deepest talent pool in the U.S......by far.  Not probably.  You can fact check that all u want with USA Hockey.  The Edina High School team is D1 talent top to bottom, and that’s just 1 program.

Here’s at tip for Brad Berry, since he seems to be overlooking some things around here.  JIMMY CLARK.  Bantam at Edina.  I believe parents attended UND.  Maybe that will help you!  Arguably the best bantam MN has to offer.  Might wanna look em up:

How do you know this kid?

My guess is Sara will be back on the roster at NDSU. She is currently enrolled there. Would be a HUGE get for UND, but doubt Momma would let it happen.

She would be a huge get for Moorhead State.  I don't see her as a DI athlete.
