I am a bit confused as Grossmont is a two-year CC but on a couple of sites, he is listed as a junior (this year). He graduated from HS in 2013 so he will have been out of HS for three years. Not sure if he has one or two years of eligibility remaining.

When I tried to get this going in the past (for things Bubba would like in the HPC), I had talked to Steve Brekke. At that point, it appeared we could make our donations via UND so they would be tax deductible. Many ss.com members sent me nice notes but indicated that they are already donating via Champions Club, etc. I did get a few commitments but not enough to move forward.

I'm in but I've tried to do some fundraising for UND football on SS.com in the past. Unfortunately, there has been little interest.

My mistake - you are correct. Apparently he had committed to St. Cloud who must have released him from the LOI. It would be interesting to know how this played out, if we continued to recruit him or if he simply wanted to go to UND.

Paulson will be a senior at Lodi, HS in WI. Not sure if he is being recruited is as a TE or DE.

You are correct - I missed that. So....maybe the offer is for BB. - although Rivals has him listed as being offered in FB by us.

Logan Strom, a 6'8", 240 TE and power forward from Norfolk, NE, is receiving numerous offers in both sports. Per Verbal Commits, we have offered him a BB scholarship on 4/20. On his twitter, he acknowledged receiving an offer but didn't say it was for BB or FB. There is a picture of him in the HPC on 4/16 so he was in town for Jr. Day. I would guess the offer is for FB but won't list it on Wiki until it is confirmed.

We are talking about a kid that would show up (and be eligible) this fall. As recruits normally sign in November and the next April (and arrive on campus that same year), this would pertain to the '15-'16 recruiting class.

We are sure focusing on Edina - signed three of their kids last year. Maybe we will get a couple more this year - Boltmann and his favorite target, Parker Rickert.

That was my assumption - or else someone isn't coming in (Brown). I have no inside knowledge, just a possibility!

Somewhat surprisingly, we have offered another PG for next season. Kinsey spent has first year at Robert Morris before transferring to Des Moines Area CC. He averaged 17/game this last season. As a former BB letter winner, I have to agree that each point is a very legitimate concern. Unfortunately, I think we need to pull the plug!

It is fact - they are trying to get confirmed funding of $1M for the next two years during which time they would work toward getting endowments necessary to keep it going.

Two new offers yesterday (both to NE prospects): SF David Wingett, 6'7", 185, Winnebago, NE Has offers from TX-Rio Grande Valley and SDSU (also offered yesterday). Scored 29/game last year. Winnebago is a town of less than 800 so I suppose they play at the smallest level of BB in the state but he must be pretty good. PF Logan Strom, 6'8", 240, Norfolk, NE Has offers from IUPUI & SDSU. It would be great to get a PF of this size. He does shoot the 3 pretty well (41%) - average 17 points and 7 rebounds last year.

I have personally experienced BF's lack of response to similar e-mails on two occasions. To me, that is a total lack of common sense and common courtesy!
