With the Swatiska in the dormitory story this week and the continuing Sioux name controversy, any Sioux fan that laughed at this video has just kissed any chance of the Sioux name staying good bye. It's done. The PCers have won, and you're laughing with them.
The Dallas Cowboys losing to the NYGiants video was funny and was not offensive to the PC world. This was offensive in the context of what occurred on campus recently.
It was gone long before this video......
PC ers are taking over the world, and it is just insane.

I think the Bison should keep their mouths shut til they win games that count. Your transition period games don't mean sh-t if you aren't in the playoffs so tell you what get the same record as last year and go to the playoffs and actually host one in the dome then come back here and run your mouths. As for saying we need to play the Bison....WHY??? We need to play the Bison like we need to play the Gophers. For what? Are you guys still sore we have the Nickel? Bout time to retire that with the Sitting Bull Trophy We will play you guys in the future don't worry about that. We have our transition period to go through and if and I said IF you guys are a I-AA powerhouse in 2012 we will put you on the schedule and renew the rivalry, until then our games don't mean di-k til the period is over (IMO). Just like your games didn't mean sh-t until this upcoming season.Yea, But I heard the "TEAMMAKERS" bought them championship rings for their "CHAMPIONSHIP" season.....

The first penalty, Radke was a little over-aggressive but I believe he was trying to set the tone for the rest of the team, who were very stale at that point in the game. The second call against him was BS. Say what you want about Kyle, but our team is 18-4-4 this year with him in the line-up. He adds more to the team than most people can see. He is a veteran guy and this will be his fourth trip to the Frozen Four. No other player on this team played in the previous 3 FF's.
I hope he plays and I hope Trupp is healthy enough to play as well.
Obiviously Hak, Eades, and Dane did not agree with you.......someone benched him and we won.....

Will Radke see ice time in Denver? I believe I read that he was benched? I apologize if I'm mistaken.
Two unnessacary penalities in our offensive end of the ice lead to two power play chances and eventual goals by Wisconsin.....
I hope he does not dress, did not play smart Hockey......?

The Ralph is hosting the 2008 World Men's Curling Championships making the ice unavailable for hockey. The Sioux will practice at Purpur Arena.
This thread seems to have gotten side tracked from it's 1st posting. My question would be why did the World Curling need to use the practice facility for a party room? It is a shame that our hockey team will be basically locked out of their own arena for preperation of trying to win our 8th National Title.

Even if this is the case, I think questioning O'Keefe's "loyalty" based on those two names is suspect, at best.
Never will question his loyality.
Just wonder how much influence he has, He bleeds green just maybe a different shade from some others?

I used to have complete faith in Mr. O'Keefe, however he has not backed some individuals in the past with strong UND ties, such as Jeff Bowen and Rob Bollinger, so who really knows what his agenda may or may not be?

no reason these games should not be at regular scheduled times.....
plus the fact they are televising them.....? great for walk up ticket sales in grand forks....

First off, Dean will never takae this job. I no him personally aand he will never have a job again where he sits in teh office day in and day out. hence the NHL job he had. Arule dean out... I heard its aa done deal rob to und but i wish they would pick some one other then a good ole boy.
Proudsioux has it right, Dean has absolutely no interest in the AD job.
I don't pretend to have a lot of inside information, but I've got this one right.

Umm... No. That is a conference tournament event. Is the gopher PA addressing that game? Because if memory serves me I believe the UND PA has had that job before. Regardless, you are failing to see the the lightheartedness of what happened. Yeah I guess my logic is flawed because I make a distinction between a harmless reference to a game two years ago and a political statement
I was under the assumtion, there are no rules, were just ribbing each other, having a little fun, it should be ok the call people names, show disrespect, use vuglarity, hell whatever floats your boat after all were in college right, that gives us a pass on class or being civil.

1st of all I love Sioux Hockey...
This last week the #4 vs #1 Division 1 College Hockey teams played to a 0-0 suspended tie because of FOG....?
This last week the #2 vs #8 Division 1 College Football teams played on thursday night BC beating VT in the last 2 minutes.
Ask yourself if the football game would have got suspended or cxl because of FOG, Weather, or anything and not played, how much media coverage would it have recieved...?
UND Hockey (Div1) is great , but a regional sport at best, receiving some national attention.
NDSU football's (1aa or FCS) win over a big ten team in Minnesota (Div1) was a great achievement, but also only a bit regional.
I do really believe they are on par with each other, and the #1 in North Dakota depends upon which sport you enjoy watching more.

Seay worked harder over the summer to improve her game, I believe she is a little stronger overall player than Jossy. Jossy will be a great spark plug off the bench, when they need a lift IMO.
Baagason tweaked her knee, will be ok.....
LaFrance had a ankle sprain.....
Brekke I think will be red-shirting...

Bunning is simply taking the low road, and you are right it will kill his aprirations for another position as a head man at any school.
Nebraska fires there AD on Monday at 11am....Hires Replacement (Interm..maybe..?) Tom Osborne on Tuesday by Noon....
End of story.....
Ours will live on forever, and do not give me the LOA excuse...UND officials (Phil) could tell us he has been let go. At least then the committee on D1 could replace him (interm) and go on.
