I think Zajac is really an under the radar guy this year. He is having a FANTASTIC year! Last year he had a so-so year. In 82 games he netted 14 goals and 20 assists to go with a -11 +/- rating. In 68 games this year, he's got 19 goals, 39 assists for 58 points. He's also tied(w/ Blake Wheeler) for the league lead in +/- rating at +34. Not only that, but he's carrying an astounding 53.2% faceoff percentage(24th in the lg)! I know that having a linemate like Parise makes things easier in getting the assists, but I honestly think that Parise is better by having Zajac as a linemate. I have found myself faithfully following the Devils just to watch these 2 play together. I heard in an interview that their line (ZZ-Pops(Langenbrunner) line) expects to score every shift, and the way they can dominate a game is just amazing. I admit I am biased as Zajac is my favorite player to come through the UND system.

I can't find this. Everywhere I look (SiouxSports/USCHO/CHN) all have Duncan getting the hatty in the box score.

Question: What is the H2H tie breaker in the PWR. I'm asking because SS has Northeastern at #5 and us at #6 while USCHO has us at #5 and Northeastern #6. I thought I read somewhere that the head to head comparison breaks the tie, but also have heard that RPI is used. Which one is it?

Just out of curiosity, I checked to see where our RPI would be if Harvard would have swept Brown instead of being swept. We would be at .5415 in RPI, and .0001 ahead of UNH, thus flipping that comparison. We would then be tied for 5th, but sitting in 7th. Just goes to show how much every game affects the RPI/PWR.

I'll start us off by taking Vande Velde

Instead of waiting for the other Survivor to wait, I'm going to start a new one for the Post Season! RULES: Anyone can enter. Not sure if this was pointed out yet or not, but thought it worth mentioning even if it had been. If you go to the WCHA Homepage, you will see the 10 WCHA team logos on the top border, along with Bemidji State and Ohio State. Not sure if this is any indicator, or why they would have those 2 other logos on there. Edit: Nevermind....they are in the women's side of the WCHA.

Ok, looking at the 5 teams that we are currently losing the comparison with, I see the following: BU - Can't flip, not going to happen, don't bother trying to figure out how it could. Michigan - Only by catching them in RPI will we flip this one. Not likely. They are .0177 ahead of us. Notre Dame - Only by catching them in RPI will we flip this one. Less likely than Michigan. They are .0287 ahead of us. Vermont - Only by catching them in RPI will we flip this one. Very possible, they are only .0094 ahead of us. Denver - We can flip this by catching them in RPI(they are .0054 ahead of us). We could also catch them by flipping the TUC/COp comparison with a Sioux sweep over Sconnie and a DU loss or tie vs CC(this would also flip the RPI, just solidifying our position versus them). Another thing that I think is important is that if teams currently above us lose comparisons against other teams(not necessarily just us) they are currently winning improves our standing as well. I took a look at Vermont's comparisons. If New Hampshire takes 3+ pts from them this weekend, Vermont will lose the comparisons with St. Lawrence, Minnesota and Minnesota-Duluth. We would leapfrog over them in the PWR based on those outcomes alone. Of course, we need to take care of what we can control first and foremost. Let's not need the help from others, but be graciously willing to accept it.

That looks to me to just be a list of the scores/schedules of all the Big 10 teams that have hockey programs, not a TV schedule for the BTN. Edit: If you look to the right, it indicates which games were on the BTN. The Sioux/Badgers game are not listed as being shown on BTN.

I think it has a lot to do with him being relentless. He is bound and determined to score every opportunity.

It was hard hat night at the Blackhawks game.

There was a guy on underground.und.edu that was asking $100 a ticket. Said something about it being for "charity." They were on the glass in section 115. 1st time I'd heard about there being seats for "charity."

Yet he was only the 3rd star of the game.
