  2. Ok, I know there are some gamers on this site, now I want all of you NHL 11 owners to chime in here and list the former Sioux players you have collected.

    So far I have:

    Taylor Chorney

    Rylan Kaip

    Jason Ulmer

    Chris Porter

    Michael Forney

    Brandon Bochenski

Matt Smaby (got for 600 pucks - I found he is not a very common card!)

It is a work in progress, but I will eventually own all Sioux Alum in the game.

Here are others that I am actively seeking:

    Jonathan Toews (gonna be tough/expensive)

    Zach Parise (gonna be tough/expensive)

    Travis Zajac

    TJ Oshie

    Drew Stafford

    Matt Greene (hard to find)

    David Hale

    Jason Blake

    Ryan Johnson

    Landon Wilson

There are others in the game I'm sure...if you know of any, list who they are here so I can make sure to look for them!!

  3. I was wondering why Stafford was scratched for Thursdays game.

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) -Buffalo right wing Drew Stafford still hasn't been cleared for full contact after sustaining a concussion four days ago, He likely will miss the Sabres' opening game of their Eastern Conference quarterfinal series against the Boston Bruins on Thursday.

Stafford, who proclaimed himself headache-free, practiced with the team Wednesday, but wore a non-contact yellow jersey.

"I want to make sure I'm 100 percent before I come back," he said.

  4. Last night during the Wild game I swear I saw that FSN would be picking up the West Regional, but looking at the comcast schedule right now it says nothing about the SCSU game and the Wild play Detroit at 7. Maybe the games will be on the alternate channel 692 in the Twin Cities? Anyone see that last night during the Wild game? I'm also sure they said they'd be carrying the Sioux game live Saturday afternoon. crap...did I dream this?

FSN did pick up the Sioux game live, as well as the Bemidji game immediately following, but they did not, AFAIK, pick up the SCSU game. Some station out of the Baltimore area picked up the SCSU/NMU game

  5. Just picked up this information on the USCHO forum:

"We should have the confirmed ESPN Syndication information for what outlets are carrying the Regional rounds of the 2010 NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Championship later today. Once those clearances have been confirmed, they will be posted on the following web site:

    www.NCAA.com/broadcast

Please check in to this site towards the end of today and the information should hopefully be posted by then. If not, it should be posted by tomorrow morning."

This was posted about 10 minutes ago.

Here is a more direct link to what we will be looking for: Linky

Also, by looking at this, it appears that the Worcester regional will be the only one NOT available in HD. :D

Edit: I guess Fort Wayne won't be in HD either.

  6. Whose commentating?

I wouldnt mind matvick but i bet he gets the west like usual

thought melrose and buccigross woudl do ours since they are obsessed with BC but they are doing albany

hope he knows a bit about hockey...

    Found this:

Frozen Four telecasts will feature Gary Thorne (play-by-play), Barry Melrose (analyst), Clay Matvick (ice-level reporter) calling all the action from Detroit. At regional semifinals and finals, commentators include play-by-play announcer John Buccigross and analyst Barry Melrose (NHL) at the East Regional in Albany, N.Y.; Matvick and Jim Paradise (Colorado College) at the West Regional in Saint Paul, Minn.; Dan Parkhurst and Damian DiGiulian (Hamilton College) at the Northeast Regional in Worcester, Mass.; and Ben Holden and Ritchlin (Michigan) at the Midwest Regional in Fort Wayne, Ind. Also during coverage of the regional rounds, the ESPNU studio will be anchored by Lowell Galindo and Bob Norton (Rutgers).
