  1. Chad Dahlen left the team to pursue his studies in January. He will be back with the team next season.
  2. The goalies weren't overly impressive. I thought the gream team was stacked compared to the white team, and all the defensemen played very well. There were a few blundered plays, but hey, it's early right.
  3. Dahlen is up to 200lbs. Plus the signing of Smaby, and with Hale and crew. TOUGH defensive Corps.
  4. I think ScottM is a gophers fan !!!!!!!
  5. I played Juniors with a couple of guys named Jeff Panzer and Karl Goerhing. Alot of people wrote Karl off because of his size and Panzer too. I believe they shut their critics up pretty #### fast.
  6. maybe chad's friends and family have said a few things, but so have people that have seen what he can bring to this team. Ask David Hale or Tyler Palmiscno, or Tim Skarperud for that matter and see what they think of Chad Dahlen. Or Ask Dave Hakstol and Dean Blais. The point of pages like these should be to promote these kids in everyway and not to bash them. Obviously some of us have too much time on our hands,(scottm, who knows nothing about what it takes to play college hockey) if all we have to do is bash others.
  7. We should be positve for all incoming players at UND, I mean they are the fututre are they not?
  8. very compelling point, but did you see LSSU play last year?? there is my compelling point.
  9. I think that Chad Dahlen is going to be that go to guy like Roche or Curtis Murphy. He did manage to get 10 points on a team where the leading scorer had 15 or 16. In his Freshman year he suffered a tramatic thigh injury that required immediate surgery and 5 months of rehab. As far as 180lbs. goes, he throws it around like it's 220. With the workouts he has been doing this past summer he is up to 194lbs. The forwards for LSSU couldn't capitalize on his numerous tape to tape passes, if he only had forwards like UND does he could have broken the 30 point barrier with ease. So, let's see what he can really do come the 2003 Hockey season. There is a reason he transferred there and only I know why.
