  1. Fabian isn't playing, he had an SEI. Although, I am sure he is still there routing on his teammates. As a fellow Westie, I hope Alaska brings home the cup.
  2. This might be considered off topic now, but, Houston was eliminated tonight by Manitoba, sadly, Hrkac's comeback season has ended.
  3. Guess I am not the only one thinking that.
  4. Wasn't it Gretzky who said if anyone was going to break his records it would be Crosby? Media hype, blame Wayne.
  5. Ya, no stick throwing video, but the slew foot and the run were on there. Side note, Alaska finished off Vegas last night for the sweep. JPL finished with a 0.75 GAA for the series. They play either South Carolina or Cincy for the Kelly Cup.
  6. Biggest load of crap I have ever seen. You have to wonder if Ralph was still alive, would this be happening.
  7. http://www.ktuu.com/Global/category.asp?C=...p;nav=menu510_4 All the videos are there on the bottom of the player page 1 and 2.
  8. Run and slew footed in the same game....make that 3-0 in the series for Alaska.
  9. Nope, Al Davis is still alive, barely.
  10. Fabian had season ending knee surgery in March.
  11. No surprise there, McGuire is fanatical about his man crushes. In last years SCF he was salivating over Mike Babcock. The guy is a tool.
  12. Here's the video highlights........ Chicago Wolves TV FYI-Sometimes the video doesn't load correctly in Firefox.
  13. An ATO allows an AHL team to sign a college player whose season is over after the league's (AHL) trade deadline.
  14. Hopefully his game can transfer over to the pro ranks and he can find success. Good luck.
  15. More than likely they signed him to an ATO "Amateur Tryout Agreement". Maybe thats where they are getting it from.
  16. Anybody got video on this? Nothing in the highlight clips from the game on NHL.com.
  17. I have been lucky enough to catch some of the guys coming through my town with their respective teams. Two weekends ago got to meet JPL and Fabian and had them sign my jersey. Both were very cordial and more than happy to spend a few minutes talking with a Sioux fan. I'm hoping to add Radke, Bina and O'connell to the jersey when they come through town..
  18. Here is an article from the local paper. http://chronicle.augusta.com/stories/latest/lat_500070.shtml
  19. http://www.echl.com/cgi-bin/mpublic.cgi?ac...=1&id=17056 "The ECHL announced that the Augusta Lynx have suspended operations, effective immediately and voluntarily relinquished their membership back to the League. The move comes as a result of the Augusta ownership group being unable to continue to operate in 2008-09. " No mention on the future of John Marks and Dane Litke.
  20. Something else to note, Greene took Paukovich out for beers after he wooped him, so I would say he is over it. Those who are not over it, would be his possible next targets.
  21. I saw Paukovich play here in Bakersfield 3 or 4 times last year and he definitely did not play with an edge. This guy obviously doesn't learn from his mistakes. You would think that ass kicking he took from Greener would have taught him something, guess not. As for the Holy Cross statement, I agree, that doesn't get old. Since Dale_Reinhardt signed here again, I will be reminded of it every game this year.
  22. It's official Lamy signs with Alaska. http://www.alaskaaces.com/news/pressreleas...?article_id=679
  23. Looks like I will be getting to see plenty of former Sioux play this season. Unfortunately none of them signed with Anaheim.
