  1. Notre Dame is too honorable to charge the siouxage for the use of the ND. In the past 4 or 5 years, the Notre Dame Hockey team has something like top 3 in wins in that span. Made it to the championship and played a close game against the very same Boston College that put up something like 5 or 6 goals up on the "other" UND in one period. Perhaps one day the University of North Dakota will be great again like the 50's or whenever you were good. A lot of similarities between UND hockey and Notre Dame football....at least the Irish have awesome academic standards....

Until you know your facts, go watch your herd animals and leave us alone: SKIPPY

  2. We should all be thankful for the University of Notre Dame, as they have proven that even small, underfunded college hockey teams can do anything! Their football program BTW, has an awesome chance of beating SC. SC's qb is hurt, Notre Dame is coming off of a win against army!(yeah, not important) but more importantly a complete drubbing of Utah. USC on the other hand is coming of a 30 point loss to lowly Oregon State(losing record). Look at two proud programs to duke it out with less than ideal teams facing off.

As for all of your hating on me guys, come on, go on Bisonville and you'll see we eventually befriend the trolls! I don't say half as hateful of things to them! As for any "complex" i might have, I do have a "no nickname" complex which typically turns me against schools that aren't represented by a name in the coming years.

Enjoy your Thanksgiving, sleep tight, because if things go according to my wishes, Notre Dame leaves North Dakota saying, "Nice arena, nice atmosphere, overrated hockey team......and damn cold weather."

Yours truly, representing 344 Johnson Hall on the campus of North Dakota's largest university,

    WhatsHockey?

You said largest, not the best, also the reason we are hating you is the racist comments you made earlier.

  3. First night...2-2 draw. Second night, 3-1 Irish! The real ND, the one with money, pride, athletic tradition, classy fans and school, will prove victorious.....and to think...the people down there are hardly even aware they have a hockey team. The way things are meant to be. God, Family, Football, Basketball, sport for unathletic white trash.

    WOW, A Troll go figure!

  4. Fun series for sure. After watching UNO and the Goofers I think that might be the best games to watch all season. The style that both teams play is going to make one great exciting series to watch. Now if Blaiser was not there then I would not think this. I just have astrong belief in Blais since the 80's. Heck look what happend when he left the first time. The whole program went south without him.

Blaiser's Good, but we will be all that better by then. No way (hoping) we get swept.

  5. Hak is still a great coach! One who alot of teams in our league would be happy to have! This whole fire Hak thread is absurd! Think back to the prior coaches who did not make it to the ncaas, Yeah the loss to Yale stings alot but remember how banged up the guys are, not how the coach coached against a good not great team almost on home ice with all thier fans!!!

  6. Personally, yes, Frattin's hit was worthy of a major. I wish Frattin would have turned even just a bit (lead more with shoulder/hip, and not the chest), but I also wish Wehrs would have leaned in against the boards rather than cowering back. Was the suspension justified? In the current league climate, yes. (Can we work on fixing the climate so we don't have to have these discussions?)

However, I do believe there was a hit this weekend more than worthy of a game suspension but it didn't: Malone's open ice, center ice cross-check to the face of a Gopher defenseman.

don't give the WCHA officilas ammo! :glare:

  7. I agree. The COLLEGE HOCKEY website should put him on the front page for the reasons you listed. Not because he's awesoem at hockey.

Hey skippy go talk about your upcoming games, Oh that's right your done for the season!!! sorry I misunderstood you awesome, pointed at the super skippy happy!

  8. Any word on the Kangas interview from Friday out there? Or at least can someone sum it up. I just heard he had a meltdown and said he hated our fans, arena ect...I would like to see it

Sioux take it pretty easily today and the Gophers season is officially over.

p.s. Cepis is a fuggin panzy

    Cepis is a showboating diver!

  9. Someone sitting on the glass behind the Gophers bench should wear a Gophers jersey and one of those swim caps and goggles.

That would be great! Reminds of the late 80's and some of the things we used to pull!! The frozen badger at the old englstad was the best!! though !!

  10. As much as the loss stings...especially after taking a late lead...I have to say that in the big picture this could be a good thing. They obviously want to win today, and it would be important for their confidence. But to win 15, possibly 16, games in a row is a ridiculous winning streak. Most NC winning teams take one around this time. There's nothing saying they can't go out and win another 7/8 in a row. It starts tonight! Play hard through every whistle and get it done.

This is also a good fact, but it is the Gophers! I would have so loved to put them away for the year now they have some confidence going into tonight! So we will have to bring our "A" game. Also we have the gophers and the four blind mice against us, it would seem!! :D

  11. The gophers did step it up compared to last night - but the Dahlstrom difference is the crappy refs. When it was said that Macloed wanted to goophs in the five - these blind zebras are trying there best. Missed calls on the sioux and timely calls for the goophs. What a bunch of crap. I am not into this conspiracy stuff. It is absolutely horse crap. The more I talk about this it just torques me off.

We did play a lot in our own end on the 3rd and we out shot the crap out of them the whole game. i'm not saying the sioux are angels and could have had a couple too - but the obvious lopsided calls in the 3rd - cmon. Games decided by bad officiating is just sick. Over and over - these guys need to go.

    this is sooo true!!

  12. For the first time in about a month, I'm reminded how much losing sucks. I'm actually small-minded enough to blame officiating, and don't mind admitting it. Usually, I just say to myself that the boys have to skate through the BS piled on the ice by the zebras. I guess that's still true. I think the team will come out flying tomorrow night and put the rodents back in their hole. We'll punch our ticket to St. Paul and the Gophers can punch theirs to Daytona.

A-men to this!! Hard to see the outcome affected by the Zebras who still do not know how too call obstruction!!

  13. The Refs should be embarrassed, and hopefully will be changed out for tomorrow...

-Both Shepherd and Hunt miss the stick to Mario's face in the first couple of minutes... play goes on...no powerplay for UND.

-Two dives by C-Piss, and two power play goals for the Rodents :)

-At least two "missed" (ignored) tripping penalties on the Rodents late in the third period. :D

-And don't forget the phantom penalty on Hextall....for being Hextall! The Sioux should have had a long 5 on 3 powerplay which would have been huge!

I'm beginning to believe the "tin foil hat" conspiracy theory.... Total Bull$hit one sided officiating... I'm sure I have forgotten to list a couple others too.

-And Redwing...Why would VV "dive" feet first into the boards at a pretty good clip? That's right, he wouldn't...no dive there.

the reffs looked the other way on all of these!
