I liked the REA for the last couple time they played NDSU there, when there was 7,000+ there it was a good environment. But I didn't care for the atmosphere the last time they played USD there, I think in 2010, there were only about 4,300 in attendance. It is just too big for my liking, especially when the lower bowl doesn't even fill up. By contrast, once you get above 2,500 or so in the Sioux Center, the environment is excellent. I agree about the larger risers in the Betty. If you doubled the size of them that would put capacity at about 4,000 which is just about perfect.

I admit to being guilty of contributing to taking this thread off topic, now let's steer it back on course. The merits of medical marijuana and the war on drugs have little to do with UND's upcoming football season.

Fact is, that marijuana is an illegal drug, an illicit controlled substance. I am all for letting the legal process play out, but it is disappointing to me that a member of the program is making headlines for drug related charges.

There will always be a couple non DI teams on the schedule each year.

With today's loss to SUU, Jones becomes the only coach in North Dakota history to lose 20 games in a season twice. The only other coach to lose 20 games in a season was Rich Glas, in his first year.

There were about a half dozen from that team. Brekke and Iverson were a couple. Brick Bredeen (sp?) also I think. Was distracted during the announcement.

UND is shooting 30% overall, 20% on 3's. 88% from the line and are out rebounding SUU by 1. It is so sloppy though. No energy at all in his building. 24 UND 37 SUU HALF

The 1994-95 team got the crowd off its feet. Maybe they can still play........

Looks like the game is on Fox Sports North today. Hopefully it will be a pretty nice turnout for the seniors' last home game. I believe they are also honoring several UND basketball teams of the past at halftime. I think Concordia's season is over, so perhaps Rich Glas will be in attendance as one of his teams is being recognized.

Best chance to get one more Big Sky win is today. A win today would go a long way to keeping us out of the Big Sky cellar. Sad it has come to that, but it is what it is.

So you are saying that you have responsibilities that preclude you from attending games. I am saying Jackson has responsibilities that preclude him from attending games. There are few members on this site that are as critical of attendance at several UND sporting events, or lack-there-of, as I am. I am fortunate enough to be able to attend quite a lot of UND events. Don't be that guy that never attends games, and then criticizes others for doing the same.
