I want to wish Brad and his Family all the luck in the world. Brad is a great guy and HE will be missed. I wonder if the salary had anything to do with it. I had heard that hak went in to try to get more money for his staff and Bunning SAID NO.Haks staff is one oF the lowest to mid paid coaches in the WCHA. What bulls--t is that all they do is win win win and we can not afford to pay what they deserve. If we want to make this big D-1 move we better be able to pay our caoches what they deserve or more will be leaving.St Cloud's assit womens basketball coach makes 25,000.00 more then our assit makes. We have lost alot of good people recently????WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rt at that time thought it was more important to take care of the fan, make sure they could listen to all sioux games.Mr Buning and the other hand needs to find a way to get back in the +.I hope that if Leighton gets the bid they can buy enough airtime from Clear Channel to get fan what they deserve. And if the fan in small town ND cannot hear the games it might be a rough road to get their financial support.

Last time when these two stations put in there bid Clear channel was out bid ,but Leighton could not give the small towns of ND the games. I heard that again Leighton came in higher ,but the question is can they cover all of ND. With UND in the red it may not be about taking care of the supporters, its all about the mighty DOLLAR.

Way would they give a bid to a station that may not be able to get the games to the smaller ND towns.I am sure that their is alot of money that comes from alum and supporters in the small towns of ND and MN . And if I was one of those people I might just stop giving which is something UND sports can not afford to do at this point since they are in the red as much as they are. Rumor has it , both stations are putting their case infront of Buning and his staff today , so we may hear something soon. I feel clear channel does a great job and Tim and Swig do great at what they do. BUT it has been all about MONEY with Buning

How many coaches club members give money every year. Alot of you'r coaches club members are year to year members. Rydel, hansen group,acme, just to name a few keep getting asked to give and give and give.Yes it might not hurt them to dish out the buck, but it could get to the point where they STOP.

Good luck with the move I have family in lakeville and they are huge UND fans.

How many people do you know that are waiting in line to pay 10,000.00 to 20,000.00 dollars to be a Diamond or Emerald member to set behind the bench. You are better to pay for Varsity club and set behind the net. Look up on the web site and see how many people belong to the big club's. If you are a owner like Wes Rydell and you get 12 tickets a year and give away 6 tickets to you'r people that work for you because you have the extra tickets.I would think that their might be 10 to 15 people that own 12 or more seats for the hockey so now you are making those very few supporters like Rydell to pay more money for tickets. Which is WRONG, because all he is going to do is buy less tickets then the people that can not pay for tickets get the shaft and in the long run KIDS suffer. I would guess that WES gives over a 100,000.00 a year to support UND sports and you only making him pay more money because of a program that can not find a way to make money.Do you think that Buning set up the game with N IOWA because it was the best thing for our football TEAM or was it for the MONEY. Their are not very many big supporters in GRAND FORKS that are going to keep dishing out money to UND, so they better find a way to make money and stop asking from the same people.

All this does is screw the bigger supporter of UND sports. When are people going to start opening their eyes to that this department is going in the wrong way.Yes this gets more people to get tickets ,but you are pissing off the big supporter that is in the diamond and emeral club that buy 12 or more tickets. That person know is only going to go to the lower level and buy less tickets. This is the wrong way to raise money to get out of the RED.

Tim and Swig may not be the best when it comes down to putting a program together, but I feel they do great job on play by play.You listen to the guys that do gopher and wild hockey thats a joke we are lucky to have Tim doing UND hockey he does a great job.And Swig does a great job on basketball. When it comes to the new contract you don't know what Buning may do it's been all about money and I know last time Leighton came in with a higher bid, but they do not cover the state like clear channel can.It was a big deal to DALE L that clear channel hit all the small towns in ND.I am sure within the next few weeks they will have the new coach come in and talk more about the program.

I few day's ago I really thought they should bring in somemore people, but after talking with a friend who has talked with two very good Div 1 head coaches they told him that Coach Jones was the real deal and would do great job. I wish coach Jones the best of luck and welcome to the SIOUX. GOOD LUCK COACH!!!

Not the best way to get the support from you'r alum, but it is OK to turn around and ask them for MONEY. I also understand it is getting harder and harder for local support. I hope when it comes friday they look at this seach hard and wait a week and bring in somemore coaches next week. But the 2 man board may have already made up their mind. And if that happens their might be some very interesting things coming out in the papers.Only time will till??

Can somebody tell me way Tonya Jones resume was not good enough for UND, BUT was fine for AZ STATE. How many more UND alums are we going to let go or pass on.

If that was the case in this process then I feel they missed the boat on some good people and I find it interesting that they only brought in four when he knew his was not going to hire Randal, because you hire a guy and take it away from him and then bring him in to be a finalist is wrong. By doing that you may be missing the boat on somebody else unless you know who your guy is before the process begins.If SW is hired on friday which alot of people feel thats going to happen then somebody needs to look into this process because A current high school coach would not have made my list.

YES he makes the final decision, but the names should be brought to him to make the final decision.He should not be part of the board that brings the names to himself.
