The weather here in New Jersey is a real mixture today--snow,rain,hail,snow. I doubt too many flights are leaving Newark Liberty International today or Thursday morning. Of course, in North Dakota, people would probably be outside getting a tan or playing tennis on a day like this

For AZSioux and the other jersey collectors out there, I saw a site that sells Green (and other colors) Chicago Blackhawks/Jonathan Toews jerseys for $45. If the link doesn't work, they are at www.richshoes.com on the second page of Blackhawks jerseys.Visit My Website

GO FIGHTING SIOUX!
GO SCARLET KNIGHTS!

Boring? I had to wait 137 years for my team to win a bowl game!!! I can't tell you how often I nearly fell asleep. I wish my "boring" football and basketball teams were in the Top 10 99% of the the time.

Enjoy this weekend,Sioux fans. Be so loud I can hear you in New Jersey!!!

I am considering/thinking/hoping to go out to North Dakota to watch the Sioux play home for the first time. Hopefully, the football team will be home during the Denver and Minnesota-Duluth games. If you had the choice, which series would you pick?
-
Siouxsweet,
Is that set in stone? As long as it is not one of the Boston schools that would be fine. I should probably leave tomorrow, though,to make Maine by October!
-
Do any of you know who the Fighting Sioux will play in the East next year? I keep waiting for Coach Hakstol to answer my letter about playing AT Princeton EVERY year, but haven't heard anything back yet.
-
Just wanted to thank CornellHockey (Jim) again for getting me a great seat for Saturday's game. Your campus is beautiful and there isn't a bad seat at the rink. The Cornell fans were great and "enthusiastic". I have only seen three Sioux games in person (Northeastern and Saint Lawrence were the others) and Cornell certainly seemed to play at a higher level. I was at the end where the possible penalty could have been called, but I honestly did not see it. I was looking more towards the front of the goal. Maybe my mind knew ahead of time to watch the game through "green-colored" glasses??? Thanks Coach Hakstol and Sioux players for making the ten hours of driving worth it. --Note to North Dakota AD: Play AT Princeton EVERY season.
GO FIGHTING SIOUX!!!
GO SCARLET KNIGHTS!!!

CornellHockey,
Thank you VERY much for the detailed information. I am going to try to get to the campus in daylight so I can look around and hopefully buy an extra ticket from someone outside.

SiouxMeNow--I see you are getting acquainted with new friends during this post

Cornellhockey,
Thanks for the info. I was going to drive up I-81. Is the campus and hockey arena easy to find?
-
Just got the bad news that Saturday's game is sold out (tickets did not go on sale to the general public until this morning). Not sure what scalpers get there, but I may still give it a try.
-
As of this moment, it looks like I will be able to make the 5 to 6 hour drive for Saturday's game at Cornell. (Still no word if Al can have the fan bus make a detour to the New Jersey Shore
Who else is making the trip?
-
Is there a bus going to the Cornell games by way of the New Jersey Shore ?
-
Hope evryone has a Merry Christmas anda Blessed 2010.

Widmans Chippers!!! Thanks again to the Sioux fans who sent me these again this year. I never heard of these before I became a Sioux fan (of course the farthest west I have been is Dayton!).
-
Now that Hofstra University is dropping football, will North Dakota be going after their players? They are eligible to play at another college immediately.
-
SiouxMeNow,
Any future Fighting Sioux football games scheduled at Eastern colleges?
-
I trust that is OK to tell you that I just learned that YaneA's Dad has passed on. I hope that all Sioux fans will send her prayers. For those of you who have been touched by her kindness, PLEASE make sure she is not alone during Thanksgiving.
GOD Bless.
