    I was trying to keep track of all the Sioux players in the NHL right now. Who am I missing ?

    Eric was able to sit up for about a half-minute the other day.That may not seem like a lot,but it is another big improvement.--He will be on the front cover of Sports Illustrated in the issue that comes out later this week. What a Christmas present for him and his family!

    So sorry the university has been forced into dropping the Fighting Sioux name,but as a non-alumnus and big fan I will continue to use the name here in New Jersey.I have been wearing jerseys and hats for a while now and NO ONE has ever said I was wearing something offensive or hostile.-- Do any of you know when merchandise with the Fighting Sioux name and logo will no longer be available from licensed companies/stores?

    I just found out that Brett Hextall played high school hockey for a New Jersey private school,Bishop Eustace Prep.I have been following Fighting Sioux hockey for a while now and I think he is the first player who is from NJ.A lot of the Philadelphia pro sports players and coaches live in New Jersey so that is probably how his family ended up living here.

    Job Market/Salaries in Grand Forks

    Not sure what I will be doing within a couple years.My Mom is 84 and I do not think she will be able to drive or be alone fairly soon. My sister and her husband are very blessed financially and she may end up living with them in Upstate New York. In addition,our company has just been purchased by a German company and they may not want to have an office here at the New Jersey Shore and one on Long Island too. All I can say for sure is that I REALLY enjoyed seeing Grand Forks last Autumn and it looks like a GREAT place to live (of course I wasn't there in mid-January LOL). Those of you who live in North Dakota are very blessed !

    The Flyers outdoor game will be at Citizens Bank Park,where the Philadelphia Phillies play. The Phillies and eagles used to play at the same stadium,Veterans Stadium,but that has been torn down. The Eagles and Temple play at Lincoln Financial Field. If you ever get a chance to see the Philadelphia Sports Complex,it is GREAT. Two stadiums and an arena,all right next to each other.

    I bought a motorcycle a few years ago and love riding it in a rural (by New Jersey standards) area called the Pinelands. It is just a Honda Rebel 250,but that is enough for me.--Despite the fact I live two feet from the Barnegat bay and Atlantic Ocean,I have never tried a Jet Ski,but it looks like a lot of fun. The rental places charge $45 an hour. It woult take me $90 before I could learn to not fall over :)
