sounds like one heck of a player and only going to get bigger and better. Let's hope he stays true to his word and Voltin alson
-
I don't like the WHL thing already in the picture
-
UAA's leading scorer decided to leave the team without reason
He go to Major's or what
-
not to surprised really...heck bring in his teammate 2...lol
-
anyone know how Rocco's healing is going
-
Let's Go UND but on show for the Canadians and hopefully it opens the eyes to elite up coming players to attend UND instead of major juniors
-
He didn't leave in the middle of the season, therefore he's not eligible until the fall. He completed one year at the U. So he has to sit out an entire year, and he's sitting out that year by playing in the USHL. It counts as the "sit out" year. I'd be surprised if he came to UND at all though.
I would be totally shocked if they haven't been keeping I eye him or even talked to him.Bringing in both Max's would be solid. Then add Seth Jones which is wishful thinking,....

max Coatta anyone have any thoughts on this kid
-
Team USA beats Canada West 7-3 Luke Voltin with a goal. Anthony Louis had the had trick for Team USA. Anyone know where this Louis is headed? He is 16 small like Rocco and was really good today.
The only kids on that not committed anywhere is Clint Lewis and the 2 goalies

this game is going to be very cool. great way to showcase the program up north. wish we had this
I agree...I hope it turns into every year thing and opens the eyes to others for possible future recruiting
-
Totally agree Gophers recruiting class is top notch but they have done it many times and the kids just don't pan out or leave early. UND has gone through it 2. The young men could be setting the world on fire with their play before attending school but doesn't mean it will can continue with College. College is a whole new ball game. We all will just have to wait and see what happens
-
Yes. That would be them. lol
sioux recruits
-
Max Coatta, Minnetonka.
Personal opinion, but he'd be my pick for the top uncommited kid, and he's just a junior.
Wonder if the Sioux r looking at him
-
Well Bjugstad is gone after this year for sure. It all comes down to some of the other guys decisions on the team. But it is true that Lucia has A LOT of forward commits that are considered blue chip recruits for the next couple seasons. The guys that i'm excited to see play are the Reilly brothers.
I think Conner will be one and done if even attends Minnesota. Ripping up the BCHL right now

He did have a few not so nice things to say about Forbort leaving which is wrong in my view u should be wishing him luck and thanking him for what he has done for u in High School of course it sucks kids leave early but that's the way it goes. Totally not a cool move on the coaches part and hold that against UND and not allowing his own son or anyone else on the team to chase they're dream and move to develop is totally wrong.
-
Yes.
I don't think he's the top uncommitted Minnesota HS kid though. One of them, but not the top one.
who u think is the top uncommited one
-
5 Jake Randolph Duluth East F 12 8 15 11 26 6 0 NC
via follwthepuck says he's on the top of the list for uncommitted Minnesota kids. Not saying its anything but figured I would share
-
U can have all the fire power on paper but doesn't mean your going to win it. Look at us the last 5 years we should have easily won 3 according to paper
-
Seth Jones
-
The Sioux just need to sweep the Goofs in January and change this young man's mind.
Be nice to get the gophers don't need anymore great recruits they r already solid for the next 3 or 4 yrs
-
never mind taking offers. i don't play that game

-
what u want for them

http://hockey.s-sm.org/teams/2011-2012/boys/bantam-tier-i/boys-bantam-tier-i-stats some good goal scores on this team. not saying it means anything must thought i would share. Jordan Greenway 6'4" forward

The reason none of our committed players are Mn High School recruits is that all the eligible upper classman are leaving school. I think their is something like 18 hs seniors playing their hockey in the ushl, dev. team in Ann Arbor, or Canadian Junior Leagues ( ex. Mario Lucia, BCHL). From what I understand their is only like 3 seniors in the state committed to D1 schools still playing hs hockey. This is considered a weak senior class from all accounts. It sounds like the next great class is this years soph., Class of 2013. Especially in the metro where some of the powerhouse programs are relying heavily on underclassman to lead the way.
name some of those sophs we could be looking @
UND @ SCSU

just file medical red shirt for Rocco and I agree with previous if surgery was the immediate fix they should have done it.
