The next round for the announcing gig takes place at the Ralph on Monday night. Not sure if its open to the public or not.

Hennen even got up at the end last nite and did a little announcing. Said he enjoyed announcing penalties the most and did a few of those, along with some names he really enjoyed over the years. A.D. Buning also got up and talked, and said some nice things about Scott.

We need more people to come out and watch the women play. They are a great team and are fun to watch. We have some of the best fans that already come to the game, now we just need more. The more the merrier.

I was there and tried out. It was a fun time. There were some really good announcers, but like PCM said, some of the guys werent very good at all, but you gotta give em respect just for trying out. They have the finalists posted at www.theralph.com. Scott will be missed, but I think one of us finalists will work out just fine, but the man is irreplaceable.

I think Colby is gonna make a helluva player for Hartford. What does anyone else think.

From what I've been told, the new soccer coach sounds tough, but the only reason he came here is to win a national championship. I hope he fulfills that goal. Preseason has already started for the girls and the coach made it into town just in time for practice. he sacrificed a lot to come up here, so hopefully the team will make it worthwhile for him.

from what i understand, the university could have allowed the team to take a plane down there, but omaha was 8 miles to close. there is a certain # of miles a place must be away for a team to take a plane, and omaha was just 8 miles under that. i just hope that UND finds a good coach for this wonderul team.

I am a big fan of the Sioux Soccer team and happen to be dating one of the players. They work very hard at what they do and deserve a little more respect. They beat the #1 team in the nation and were ranked as high as #6 at one point. Their fan base is starting to develop but the athletics program needs to support them more. As for the botched NCAA regional game, from what i understand, Roger Thomas or whoever is in charge of the bids, didnt put one in due to the that they, nor the coach, thought they would be the #1 seed.
