A handful plus of Frozen Fours, and two National Championships, that KG was a part of as a player, volunteer, and coach. Appreciate his commitment to the Program!

Those pay poorly. Likely would have been a lateral move.
-
Good group of finalists. Herter would have been interesting.

There is a difference between Schlossman and the rest. They are paid, or contracted, by the University. Schlossman should not be “in the family.”

Used to be journalists broke stories. If it can’t be written, and at times be uncomfortable with those written about, I can read press releases on X.

Last I heard was the case against "Chico" Adrahtas was thrown out. But the publicity was ugly. Pietrangelo brought the whole thing to light about Chico's visualization drills.

Apps are closing. Guessing there will be one name. Don’t know who, but the vetting should be done. Seems consensus is CDJ.

I hope the AD, or whomever is running the search, is making calls not assumptions.

Or Carle himself. Have to make the call, at least.

Money, facilities, and resources are not even in the same stratosphere.

Yes, especially this one. Would he be able to integrate with this culture is the larger question?

I really don't see him in the conversation, given the condensed time frame and lack of connections to the program. Tell you dad "hi."

Schlossman usually plays it fairly safe with the Admin. Virg would have had his list out already!

Semantics at best. Mutual meeting of the minds if I recall correctly. Salary wasn't even close to comparable.

Gino got the first one with Rube’s recruits and Berry did the same with Hal’s. Gino proved himself twice more, while Brad has not.

There are going to be some changes in higher education. Smaller population of college-aged students, and fewer making the choice to attend. More focus on skills, credentials, and apprenticeships, even for white-collar professions. Not sure if SCSU takes the hit, but there is a lot of redundancy in SCSU, BSU, Minnesota State, and MSU-Moorhead. Don’t see how they all survive. -
For the older crew, sad news out of Warroad. Former Sioux Coach Rube Bjorkman's wife Marilyn passed away last Saturday. Service is Saturday in Warroad. Thoughts and prayers to Rube and his family.

But doesn’t UND want someone that will “cost money?” I’d like to see someone that places their own value at $400K.”
