I'd definitly go for Spirko..once a Spirko fan ALWAYS a Spirko fan....

I have never really paid that much attention to the WJC before this year and this was the first game i watched...it was pretty awesome! So much scoring and action i couldn't beleive it!

Does anyone know the score for the Slovakian-Canada game?

I do beleive that Spirko used to play with Jaroslav Markovic who is playing in the WJC this year for Slovakia. Markovic plays for the Tri-City Storm this season. http://stormhockey.com/

I was looking through the USHL site at the college commitment lists and saw there were 3 for the 04-05 season... Miller,Brad-Green Bay Lee, Brian- Lincoln Oshie, T.J.-Sioux Falls http://ushl.com/college/index.cfm

I know at the storm games they do the "Hey" chant and when they get to the "We're gonna beat the BLEEP out of you" everyone just says Puck

That picture is from a storm game, we sit in the same section just a couple rows up from them. They still wave the Slovakian flag....their are 2 other slovakians on the team this year and they are Lukac's host family....:)Just thought i'd drop a lil info on it;)

I'm from NE and used to watch Spirko play all the time, me and my friend were like his biggest fams and i know everyone had their own nicknames for him.....mine and hers was Rusty..we heard one of his fellow players call him that at a signing, Sparky and Raddy Dog. Glad to see Spirko has carried his name through hockey!
