  1. I never thought about this before
  2. I know it’s already been said a couple time but I agree think Eli’s role as a secondary ball handler and creator suits him much better.
  3. Nice read confirming 52 stays in green for another season
  4. UND with the official offer to Dariyus Woodson out of Tyler JuCo. Aveeaged 11.1 ppg 4.6 reb shot 47.2% from the field and 37.1% from 3 on 132 attempts.
  5. get Josh and Moni both coming up to grand Forks
  6. Im in shambles after hearing the Hong news, I will always be a Hong fan for life
  7. Love the Moni offer, I think he could be a really nice player in the summit. And he would be an actual stretch big unlike T
  8. Zeke isn’t officially in the portal yet
  9. https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/college/und-extends-the-contract-of-football-coach-bubba-schweigert
  10. Bubba has officially been extended
  11. I would hate so much to make march madness, would rather be at home with the season over
  12. I do like player freedom to an extent, the loyalty part is tough. Wish you could see top guys staying all 4 years at programs but that just isn’t the case anymore with NIL and players being more like to jump ship versus stick it out somewhere. At the end of the day doesn’t matter what we all think because college athletics is evolving. Hopefully it can evolve for the better but right now we’ll just have to wait and see but as an athletic program I hope UND doesn’t fall behind and is able to put successful teams on the court. This year was a great start now need to build off of it, figure out what to do with BJ leaving and get ready for a big summer.
  13. I could see how he could be happy with that role. Go to a team that has won the national championship and been a #1 seed multiple times in the last 5ish years (although the 1 seed didnt work out against UMBC lol). Everyone needs to have a role on a winning team and can’t average 10+ points. If he is happy with a lesser role in order to try and win I can respect that.
  14. Seems like you’re just in your feelings about him leaving. He was only brought up when talking about guys leaving and if they had success.
  15. DAE is whatever, he had a successful season but has the off the court problems. Moody I dont understand what all the hate is about. Took him time to figure it out but everyone at Montana loves him. Became a 1st team all conference guy.
  16. Filip only played 3 years at UND right? Not that it changes what you’re saying. And for Rhode I don’t think we can judge it off of 1 year. They weren’t as successful as people thought but if the team has success the next 2 years it is worth the trade off.
  17. Same with Geno, he was probably happy with his decision. It may work out it may not. I’m just not going to tell him what he should or shouldn’t do and act like I know best based on my opinion on the changing landscape of college athletics. Obviously I wish he would stay but not going to fault a kid for leaving to get paid and pursue a different opportunity elsewhere especially when there have been several UND athletes who have done the same thing and had success.
  18. What do you think Filip Rebraca has to say about transferring out? Took a lesser role his first year, stats all went down, but then got a bigger role his senior year. Played in march madness both years, won the big 10 one year. Got to experience playing against many different NBA players and in top college facilities across the country
  19. Should have said the part about UND not having the budget, I’m sure you can understand the confusion based on the rest of your post thinking you know what the correct decision is. I think everyone is making a lot of assumptions about his playing time next year when we dont even know what schools he is looking at, let alone what role will be asked of him. Maybe he takes less minutes next season but has an higher impact his senior season. Who knows. Maybe he goes to a team has less of an impact and less minutes but wins a conference championship or plays in March Madness doubt he will look back and say hmm maybe I should’ve stayed.
  20. That could definitely be a good option, he can sure score the ball, doesn’t shot it well though. I know UND has reach out to him
  21. I guess I’m just confused by this statement here, it’s unfortunate that he is going to go get paid and make more money playing basketball than most people in this forum make in 2 years? To say he will be less happy in the long run is whatever thats your opinion and maybe it is right, but just dont see how it is unfortunate. I thought BJ had a great 2 years with the program and represented UND very well. Wish nothing but the best for him and hopefully he can be much happier in the long run.
  22. Sad day even though we knew it was coming
