Think Brooks might end up taking some of Levias minutes… Brooks is basically Brady.. and Brady is shooting better from 3 this year. It’s just hard to put another non shooter on the floor with this group. I don't think anyone is openly campaigning for him to get an extension right now... If anything people have voiced what they think Chaves is going to do. He extended Mallory after winning 1 or 2 games as the interim. He has shown a willingness to give coaches a long rope... maybe he does with Sather, maybe he doesn't. No one is sitting here that thinks a 20-30% winning percentage is good enough, we all understand that. You and a few others are campaigning for him to be fired right this instant, which is just not going to happen. Yes, results haven't materialized the way fans, coaches, players, administration, and alums want them to. Everyone is tired of hearing it, but it's the honest truth. This is a young team. They are trying to learn how to win conference games with vey inexperienced players. The experienced players have been bad this season, outside of Norman. AND they are arguably getting the absolute most out of Danielson that he can produce. Seasons can turn around on a dime with a couple good wins... what if they get a good win tonight? What if they knock off ORU on Saturday in the Betty? That COULD happen! Are the odds great to sweep this weekend? No, but it's college sports and a momentum swing, and confidence swing could be huge! Coach Sather is a good coach, no one can tell me different. He has proven that throughout his career, even if it wasn't at the almighty D1 level. He, undoubtedly has had a rough couple years at UND. I imagine he is taking that as hard as anyone, and he will take full responsibility. If anyone is exhausting any and all options to try and turn it would be him. I'm pulling for him and UND. If he gets fired at the end of the year because this trend continues, I see why that decision would be made. But your hopes and dreams of him being fired next Monday, are just not going to happen. I'm also sorry for having a bit of positivity today. Felt good.

Until UND and boosters pony up some serious NIL money, UND can’t even get in play with the transfers that you NEED. wonder why ORU has kept Abmas and all their other guys, oh and bring in 2 power 5 transfers…. I’m sure it’s only because Paul mills is just a great coach, it would have nothing to do with anything else.

I can assure you that you are incorrect.

Sather should be fired immediately. They should hire a timeout guru and then they won’t lose another game the rest of the season. They should also hire a subbing coordinator and a free throw expert. If there’s anything left in the budget they should hire a confidence advisor to make sure every player is confident. problems solved

I guess if I don't have credibility on a fan forum from HoopsFan03, I'll be able to sleep at night. There is a timeout every 4 minutes of game play- I guess if he would call one between the 16 and 12 minute mark, everything would have been different. Like I said, timeouts are magical and change everything. Maybe he should have switched jackets at halftime or used a different color marker as well for his whiteboard.

I'm agreeing with both of you that he should have used his magical timeouts to stop the other team. Timeouts always stop runs, because they are magic.

You're right, coach Sather doesn't care about winning and is all about having fun. I'm sure he is doing nothing to try and solve the issues. Just sitting back having coffee at Northside and enjoying his time in Grand Forks. It's too bad he didn't use more of his magical timeouts- if he would've taken one more 30 second timeout UND would have won by 10, because timeouts are magic.

DAE doesn't fix any of the issues UND has right now. He's a below average shooter, horrible defender, and below average rebounder. He can stay at CSUN

DAE sucks and is on his 3rd school in 3 years. UND doesn't desperately need DAE. That's absurd. Marlon Stewart had his best year of his college career with Sather as the coach, Filip Rebraca had his best FG% year with coach Sather as a coach, and Kienan Walter had a the best year of his career with Sather as the coach. Also he took that team to a Summit League title game. Since that game is where the issues lie. But to say that UND could use DAE right now is totally laughable. Should SDSU's head coach be fired too? He lost to NDSU as well last night?

Offense is going to be an issue all year, they played the game they needed too, came up a couple plays short

He will not be coming to Grand Forks. I believe there is some issues with his eligibility status and NCAA won't allow him to compete. Coach Sather should be immediately reprimanded for this.
