I hope the Sioux come out hungry tonight! I wouldn't mind seeing those black jerseys again cause the boys looked like a bunch of badasses last night.

My alarm clock is set to some Forks radio station and when it went off the day that the story broke they were discussing it. Moreso they were making fun of the nomination to the NCAA for the award. I have no idea what radio station it was and I only listened for a couple minutes. But it was pretty clear that they weren't taking the nomination or the award very seriously and ridiculing it. If I had an important award to hand out, I would make sure that it was given to someone that is actually deserving or someone or something that would be mocked like this was. I guess that I haven't gotten too fired up about it, because it basically means nothing. The one thing that keeps going through my head is, "Don't bite the hand that feeds you."

I'm glad that the kiddies play somewhat early today, so we get to watch the game from our living room. Let's rock an roll!

Here's my $0.02..... I have been against these Nike Swift jerseys since the World Juniors a year ago when they introduced them......but when I got home after the avatar's game and watched the game. The boys looked pretty damn cool out there with them on. I'm up for wearing the black ones as the alternate jerseys. But keep the white and kelly ones as they are. That's it, the black as an alternate gets the HockeyMom Seal of Approval.

Hhhhmmmmmmm.......I seem to remember being at a Sioux football game during the playoffs at Memorial Stadium and people on the east side were pelting the NDSU players and coaches with snowballs most of the game. When a Bison fan threw one, he was escorted out by about 6 security guards. It must be a conspiracy......
