I kept refreshing and trying again and again, and finally got 1 SRO. 1 does me no good, so I cancelled the transaction. I was on at 11:00:01 getting the none available message until that single popped just before the "not on sale" message started going up.
Exact same thing happened to me. I was in at 10:55 and kept refreshing about every 30 seconds. FINALLY got in at a few seconds after 11 and it said they were all gone already. I don't know why, but I kept hitting refresh anyway - about 3 minutes later I got in again. I asked for 4 sets, then 3 then 2 and finally one and it gave me one! Standing room only tho - but I took it as we needed one more anyway. We were successful with 2 on the Champion's Club call thing as well. We will just have to draw straws to see who stands now! St. Cloud bus update. Al has openings. Details: $190 gets you the bus ride and tickets to BOTH night's games AND beverages on the bus! It's a good time people! Bus loads at 9:30 AM and leaves by 10 AM on Friday morning. Discounted rooms are booked at the Kelly Inn and are paid for by you as you check in - cram a bunch in your room and make it cheap. the Duluth trip is THIS WEEKEND.... one update... there are two buses going - one is originating from Fargo. If you are in the Fargo area and want to come on the trip call Al's daughter JoAnna at 701.388.9825 for details on how and where to get on in Fargo. Other trip details are at the beginning of this thread.
another update - if people are interested in skiing in Duluth, one bus will take you on Saturday afternoon before the game - ask JoAnna about those details as well.

UPDATE**** Al has to make a change to the price for the Bemidji trip - the ticket price he was quoted CHANGED to a whopping $48 each!! He apologizes but he needs to change the price for that trip to a total of $85. (which includes the game ticket, the bus ride to and fro and "refreshments" on the bus) It will still be a bang up time - hop on the bus Gus! Al Pearson has buses going to Bemidji (day trip), St. Cloud and Duluth. Details are as follows:
Bemidji - January 17th (Friday only). Bus leaves GF at 4 PM (loads at 3:30 PM) and returns after the game. The ONLY way to go to this game and enjoy an adult beverage on the way! Leave the driving to someone else. $75 includes the game ticket, the bus ride and the beer on the bus.
Duluth - Feb 21 & 22 - He has TWO buses going on this trip. Buses leave GF at 10 AM (load at 9:30 AM) from the Ralph. Price is $175 and includes a ticket to both night's games, the bus ride and 'refreshments' on the bus. Rooms are already booked at the Holiday Inn connected to the rink - you are responsible for the paymemt of the room on your own.
St. Cloud - Feb 28 & March 1 - one bus going to St. Cloud. Same details as above for Duluth except the hotel is the Kelly Inn.

Get on the Bus Gus!! Who will win the FINAL McNaughton Cup? The Sioux/Mankato series could be the deciding weekend. Al Pearson has his famous fan bus heading to Mankato to help the team come home with the Cup!!
Details: Bus leaves GF at 7 AM on Friday, March 8th from the East parking lot of the Ralph. Returns Sunday morning March 10th. Rooms are booked at the City Center Hotel (connected to the rink - all indoors!) Cost is $170 for bus ride, game tickets for both nights, driver tip and "refreshments" on the bus. (If more than 45 people sign up the cost will drop to $150 per person. Spread the word!) Room cost is on your own - split between however many you have in the room.

I will be attending a conference in Minneapolis next week and will now be able to attend both games in St. Cloud. My last trip to St. cloud was 10 years ago and I only attended the Sat game. I would appreciate any tips on restaurants, things to do, places to stay, parking, etc.
A friend and I are also considering making the trip to Duluth in Feb.
I second the MC Dugout vote (with the Hairy Buffalo drinks!) Also, try to stay at the Kelly Inn. That's where everyone stays and it's walking distance to some pretty decent night life and connected to the convention center and a Green Mill restaurant

Hop on the bus Gus! Al Pearson and Co. are taking a fan bus to this weekend's series in Madison. Bus leaves GF at 6 AM with pick up stops if you want to hop on somewhere along the way. The $190 fee includes the bus ride, game tickets for both nights, transportation to and from hotel and game and "refreshments" on the bus.
