I don’t think there’s anything wrong with people wanting us to get better/more dynamic at the QB position, whether it’s Tommy getting better or turning to one of the backups. The school down south benched their QB and he was undefeated at the FCS level. Oklahoma benched the preseason heisman favorite and some peoples #1 QB prospect in the draft. Nothing wrong with people wanting to see what our backups can do, especially when our offense hasn’t necessarily lit the FCS on fire this year

Talked to a guy at work who went to the game last night. He’s normally a pretty positive guy, but said it could be a long season. He said the SU’s might beat us by 100. Overall it was a disappointing year. I think splitting with DU and Omaha really did it for me. No reason to be losing those games. This team needed a player that could bail them out when the shot clock was winding down or they would go on one of those scoring droughts and no one could do that consistently. Hopefully they can bring in a transfer/recruit or someone on the roster can step into that role next year
