This should probably be under 2023 recruiting. I honestly don’t know who could play right away. Erickson needs to redshirt and work on his body. Probably same for Bothun but I haven’t actually seen him play. Too many options ahead of Doppler unless he’s just better than guys already on the roster. If one had to play maybe Erickson just cause he’s a big body

I have not seen him play football but heard he’s raw. Basically betting on body type/freak athlete. He wants to play basketball but he’s a 6’4” PF/C so that’s limiting interest there

You’re telling me it’s possible for KC and Denver to be worse this year? I still can’t believe how bad they were in the Betty last year. For a team that finished last in the conference, I was impressed with Omaha. They won a game in Sioux Falls and gave SDSU all they wanted in the Quarterfinals.

Saw ndsu got its first commit for the 2024 class. There has to be more than just the Sem offer out there for this class. Maybe they just have gotten posted in other threads?

Put me in the camp of wanting to give the last scholarship to D. Hong if they can’t find an impact shooter. I wouldn’t be mad if they offered a guy who was on a national championship roster and had to practice against multiple NBA guys for a year

Woah woah woah easy there big fella. The staff only added 3 PGs to the roster this off-season. All they run is motion, anyone can get them into that. Sources are telling me don’t be surprised to see T initiating the offense next year. It’s that easy

Thinking about it now I’d flip 2 and 3 on my list. Im sure T could play the 4 if we had a true 5 to play beside him. I just don’t think that’s coming based on there being no reported offers to any 5s that fit that description. I just think it’s a little odd the staff didn’t seem to think it was a need. Maybe they think the length and athleticism of Omot and Mayar could be enough?

Is there really any 4s on the roster? We know from last year Omot needs to play the 3. Mayar may be the only option at the 4 unless I’m forgetting someone.

I’m not as confident in the shooting as you are. Trent, King, Brooks, and Mayar may be sub 30% 3 point shooters next year. Omot was only 30% last year. He’ll likely improve but how much? TT was 34.5%. Treysen only one likely to be in that 38-40% range and he’s not a spot up shooter like Norman.

If Tyree doesn't get a waiver my biggest question marks heading into next year would be 1. Shooting 2. Point Guard play 3. Rim protection
