That’s possible but makes less sense than just putting UND up against Notre Dame in Albany. Besides “Wooster” is a crap hole. Should have never been a selected site in the first place.

Do you think they’ll put UND in same bracket as Western Michigan to set up a game with them for the 6th time? I think not. I see us heading to Albany for a date with Notre Dame, then possibly Mankato. It makes no difference whether four teams from the NCHC make the FF. Let the cards fall where they may.

Here’s how it’s shaking out… We were never going to be in same bracket as DU.

1. Michigan vs. 16. American International
8. Quinnipiac vs. 10. St. Cloud StateAlbany, N.Y.
2. Minnesota State vs. 15. Harvard
7. North Dakota vs. 9. Notre DameWorcester, Mass.
3. Western Michigan vs. 14. Northeastern
6. Minnesota vs. 11. MassachusettsLoveland, Colo.
4. Denver vs. 13. Massachusetts-Lowell
5. Minnesota Duluth vs. 12. Michigan Tech -
Root for western tonight. Duluth passes us in Pairwise if they win.

Buddy, this isn't a wanger-swangin' contest.... I'm asking why you think it won't happen. I'm not challenging your intelligence, here.
Okay, wanger swanging aside I don't see DU at #3 and UND at #6, or either teams at #4 and #5 to qualify to be in the same regional. I believe if UND loses a game they fall to #7, or if DU wins the title they could very well land at #2.

Correct...if the season ended now. However the current situation will change with this weekend's games since one of those two teams is going to lose, making the current situation a different situation. In other words, the current situation can't remain status quo.
