The real question is...does one plan a trip to regionals? Or wait and hope to make a trip to Detroit instead?
This will be my 5th year going to the West Regionals. If UND makes the Frozen 4, I will go.

You didnt "seen" anything, you saw it....
"I Seen" is for people who flunked out of NDSU.....or graduated from Duluth.
I stand corrected. I saw that too.

We were sitting directly behind the St. Cloud bench, as in the second row. The entire game the SCSU coach would hold out his hands like "what the heck is going on" every time a St. Cloud player got touched. At every whistle stoppage the St. Cloud captain or a St. Cloud assistant captain would go to the ref and complain. It was finally early in the third period when one of the officials came to the St. Cloud bench and ripped into the St. Cloud coach non-stop for a couple of minutes. I could not hear what was being said, but it appeared to me the official was tired of hearing all of the complaining and bitching by SCSU. It didn't matter, as the very next time an SCSU player with the puck was checked the coach held out his hands like "what the heck is going on."
I seen that too. Every chance after a play, at the end of a period, it didn't matter whatever the reason being, there would be the captain or an asst. captain jacking his jaw to an official on the ice.

Me and my womanfriend will be there.

Agree. I was hoping Tampa or PHX but I'll still go back to Vegas.
I would add Miami to the above list (BB&T arena)

Anyone else think if this year's #22 was around the 2 years missed the NCAAs instead of the #22 that actually was on the roster I could have enjoyed my ticket in Sioux Falls and Fargo?
Agreed 100%, I was at both places too. Would like to see it in Sioux Falls again, but with our team there too.

Who is starting in goal Friday night? Anybody know the line charts?
-
1- Minnesota (will always be the most hated!)
2- UMD (cheap shot specialists and dive experts)
3- St. Clown (Fans holding signs the last 2 years at the West Regionals that said "WHERE'S UND??" and "NO HOST SCHOOL AT THIS TOURNAMENT?"
4- Western Michigan (could be Lunatic envy)

Can we focus on the important issue before the ‘19-‘20 season comes to an end; fixing the new end of period buzzer? We have the nicest scoreboard in college hockey and a buzzer that is not good enough for the “old” gym at the local YMCA. To be clear, not the regular gym at the YMCA. The dimly lit, weird location, smells funny, chain link fence around the .17 mile track...old gym. The buzzer is not good enough for that old gym.
Don’t even think about changing it to a siren or ship horn either. Just bring back a normal buzzer please.
Agreed!! Whole heartedly!! That buzzer reminds me of gym buzzer at Wilder Elementary...…….annoying to say the least.

Several reasons for the turnaround this year. As mentioned earlier, Gooch's game took a little time to develop and is really good. Pinto is a beast, Karl is doing outstanding work, and I think the freshmen and sophomores on the team are pushing the upper classman to perform. Just my .02 cents

For those selling on third party sites, Stubhub or seatgeek, are those tickets mobile only or will they be mailing hard copies?
in looking to buy from there, it says they’re available awfully close to game day.
I believe they are mobile only. Even mine from Ticketmaster says they will be available in 256 days!

Better check your numbers. They would have to wear oxygen tanks at that altitude.
I screwed up, Loveland Pass is 11,990.. dam google!

Is loveland still going to be an altitude scenario like going to DU is?
Loveland is 11,990 feet above sea level, Denver is 5280 feet...….

Honestly, I'd prefer to go to Allentown over Loveland.
I understand.... I have gone to the West Regional for the last 4 years. Three times in Fargo and once in Sioux Falls. I have tickets for Loveland. It would be nice if UND were there.

If UND stays the #1 overall seed, they would likely be in Loveland with DU if DU is either a 2 or 3 seed.
Thanks! I should have stated "If UND is still the overall #1 seed".

What would be the highest Denver could be seeded for UND to go to Loveland? A #3 seed?

Isn't Wilkie like 25 years old now?
23, he will be 24 in July.

That doesn't fly at UND unless you're elite and even our elite players (I think immediately of Danny Kristo), eventually learn to play in all zones.
Reminds me of Adams last year doing the one skate push to get back to the defensive zone.....

It’s pretty impressive that Wilkie is the second leading goal scorer in the country. Hopefully we can contain him this weekend.
In 2014-15, Brock Boeser was the season high score for Waterloo in the USHL. Guess who was the season high scorer for Tri-City that season?..... Chris Wilkie

UND isn’t hosting a regional this year? I thought it was back to Fargo again.
Next year the Midwest regional will be in Fargo. UND and The Ralph put in a bid for this year to try and get it in Grand Forks. The NCAA wouldn't bite, Denver put in a bid for Lovland. They get the West Regional this year and next.

We win 5-3, Perunovich takes a run at Gooch. It gets ugly

You are a St. Cloud apologist. What was St. Cloud's excuse in 2018 when they lost to Air Force in the regional, or 2016 when they lost to Ferris State? St. Cloud always chokes when it comes to the NCAA tournament.
Far from it sir, I cheered for Air Force in Sioux Falls and AIC in Fargo. Why not cheer for someone in our conference? Because a bunch of St. Cloud fans had signs made up, " Where's North Dakota ?" and " Where's the host team? with our logo on it. St. Cloud fans can pack sand..

AIC beat St. Cloud in the tourney. Who hasn't?
I was at the game. AIC were well coached and executed their coach's game plan to a tee. St. Cloud were rattled, then frustrated, and then time ran out.. It's anybody's game when it comes to the tournament.
