  1. And the additional OT if necessary!
  2. Interview with David Toews coming up on DAZ.
  3. I believe they've done that a few times this year.
  4. You have that part right, Cherry would love it. I can already here him. "That's how the game was meant to be played!"
  5. Good start for the Sioux. Need to come out in the 2nd frame and add a few more goals!
  6. We've been saying that all year!
  7. Sure, if you chose Phil as your offensive player!
  8. GENOWAY FROM 40 FT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2-0!!!
  9. Let's go Fighting Sioux PP!!!!
  10. Since when do you have to leave your feet to have it be charging? Yes, leaving your feet makes it more of a clear charging call, but the rule book doesn't state you have to leave your feet. As I stated, he came in from the blue line with a full head of steam, never appearing to let up, which is charging.
  11. RADKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1-0!!!
  12. I thought it was charging personally. He came in from the blue line with a full head of steam and never really let up. Don't feel sorry for Dobson, but I know if it happened to one of our guys, I'd want a call.
  13. Oshie gets away with a charging.
  14. LET'S GO SIOUX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. That's the second time this year that Denver has benefited from the Ref's lack of ability to call a game. Big points on the line, and oh yes, how convenient that the Regional is in Colorado this year!
  16. Hak said he's not feeling well (not 100% healthwise).
  17. Hakstol pre-game comments: We got a few bounces last night, but I think we earned those bounces. The goals we scored, we scored 4 different ways. One was a great play, one was off a great cycle, one with distraction, one with a bounce. On Watkins goal, Kaip was distracting Nolan pretty good. I thought Radke brought a good presence to us when we needed it. Genoway likes to make plays. He hates to give the puck away without making a play. Last night, he chipped in a few pucks that ended up in good cycles for us. Sometimes, you have to do that. There were some pucks that bounced wide and were blocked in front for them, but overall, we limited the quality of opportunities that they had. You have to work hard to do that against Tech. They drive hard and are tenacious in front of the net. We have to play with an edge tonight. Have to play with an intensity level, but know where the line is. On one end, you're asking for high intensity play, but at the same time, you're asking them to show control. You try to read where the line is at on any given night and you have to go play wherever that is. We won the specialty team war last night, and that will be big again tonight. Tech's a team that's ever going to go away. They play hard for 60 minutes. I think getting the 4th goal last night took a little out of them, but I have a lot of respect for Tech. They play hard and with a lot of respect. Davidson in, Kozek out. Andrew didn't feel 100% last night, and he still wasn't feeling it today. We feel we can't have that, and we feel that we have to give Davidson an opportunity. He's worked hard. He'll be excited to get in the lineup tonight, and I know the guys will be excited to have him in it.
  18. Why, so we can be shorthanded the entire game?? Campion has no problem calling penalties against us.
  19. I don't remember him getting banged up, and don't remember his name being called a lot, so it may be a wake up call.
  20. Stafford with an assist in tonight's Devils/Sabres game.
  21. I guess it's Nolan again. Better to be safe than sorry if you're Tech and Teslak. I'm sure he wanted to go, but sometimes, you have to go against what the player wants.
  22. Next, you'll be saying you don't believe in those e-mails that says you have to forward it to 107 people or you'll drop dead in 3 minutes!
  23. Hak thought last night that we'd see Teslak tonight, so I guess we'll find out in a few minutes!
  24. Amazing the amount of pro players wish they would have stayed in college, when looking in hindsight. It's a magical time of life, regardless of if you're an athlete or not, and people should experience it before moving on to life and all the challenges it throws at you.
  25. DU 3, Sconnie 1
