I stated early into the game that he didn't look his sharpest. Not to blame him for all the goals, but he should have made the one against both Potulny (2nd goal) and Irmen.

At least we got some shots on the PP.

Blais didn't recruit either Potulny or Irmen. Obviously he didn't see them fitting in on our team. I never questioned Blaiser while he was here, and I won't start now. They're from North Dakota, but they don't play for the Sioux. Not the first or the last players who will fall in that category.

I don't think anyone on the board is saying the Sioux are playing their best hockey. If you look back on past posts, you'll see that we all agree Sioux are being outskated. However, the hit on Chorney was a penalty, but wasn't called, which lead to a Gopher goal. It happened right after the Sioux scored to make it 2-1, which than made it 3-1. That itself was a backbreaker. Sheppard missed the same type last night, and it gets a little old.

I stated before the game that we needed to keep Potulny and Irmen off the board. Didn't do that. Need to come out in the 3rd and at least show heart.
