Toews hidden message...'Most fans will see that I meant nothing by my actions, but there will always be some people who misinterpret the truth. People such as WJCFan on SS.com.'

Best use for a rodent jersey...toilet paper

I've heard of female domination, but this one is way out there!

If he would have let up a goal to some yahoo who just jumps on the ice, his teammates would have never let him down! Now that would have been funny!

Did we expect anything less from the players who attended such an elite university? It's great to see all of these guys doing so well. Though they won't play in the AHL All-Star Game, it's still a tremendous honor for them being selected to the team, and it makes UND look like an even stronger manufacturer of pro hockey players. Kudos to all of them!

However, if Hale is still playing for the Devil's at that time (which by his play lately, I expect him to be), he'll be playing a home game with the Devils's that night. Article on Hale on the Devil's website. Here's the link. David Hale Article

Best bet is to watch it one tv, and hang out with friendly people here on SS, rather than sit in a hostile environment! Okay, in reality, if I were in MSP and had tickets, I'd be at the John too!

I was hoping we would have seen something similar to the movie "Slapshot" when all three of the Hanson's run into a guy. It would have been nice to see 5 Canadian's take the guy into the boards

Thanks PCM! It sounds like Toews and Lee both had great interviews, again showing their maturity is beyond their actual age.

Here's a link of the video of the Hab's practice. Not the best quality video, but it's still pretty funny. The link to the video is on the right side of the page. Hab's Practice

This was my favorite quote of the article. "Maybe he was wondering if we need a right-handed shot and tried to prove he can play on our team," Kovalev said. "You need one of those things to give us a laugh."
-
It was hilarious! I read it at work, and I just had a huge belly laugh. Our luck we'll get some Gopher wanna-be taking shots on Phil at practice
-
Does that mean we all have to use our real names? Hey, for some posters on this board at times, it may

Hey, can't argue with closed practices after what happened at the Montreal Canadians practice the other day. In case you didn't hear, some joker got on the ice and tried to score on Theodore. I guess he poke checked the first rush, and the second one was a weak wrister to the glove side. The players laughed it off, but it's definitely something the guys don't need to prepare for this weekend's series.

Parise's goal holds up for the game winner in a 3-0 Devils win. Zach had a solid performance throughout the night, and nearly had another goal on a PP.
-
I disagree. Kessel led the team in points. Bourque was probably the best scorer, due to Norway. I do agree though that Oshie played well above anyone else on the team throughout the majority of the tournament.
-
He did have a good interview. Glad to see that he's becoming a more permanent fixture on the Devil's second line. In the first period, he drew a penalty, scored a goal, and made a nice pass to set up another scoring opportunity. He didn't play that bad in the 2nd period either. It's obvious that he's becoming more comfortable in the NHL, and he appears to be making the most of the amount of ice time that he's getting.
-
Oh come on! You could possibly make TSN! "Look at this poor Hab's fan, getting the @*!) kicked out of him at the Sens game." You'd be famous.

Zach Parise scores a PP goal in tonights Devils game.

This tournament was something that Toews had dreamed about being a part of. Also, by winning the gold, the team has probably formed a brothership with one another that will follow for years. They'll continue to play against one another in their respective leagues that they play in, but still be able to share the memories of those two weeks. Toews will also have this in the future with members of the Sioux. They are all part of a family. He's a 17 year old freshman, who just had one of his dreams fulfilled. The comment occurred regarding something that happened in a faceoff circle. Hardly the time to start a full fledge conversation. I think his silence told Oshie that he was focused on this game, and focused on winning the game. It would have been bush-league had he made some negative comment back to him, but that never occurred. I don't doubt that your experience in Vancouver wasn't a positive one. Many of us listened to or watched every US game, and we heard the crowd's feelings for the US. Do I lose any sleep over it? No. I know I live in a great country, and wouldn't trade that for anything. I'm sure that most Canadians feel the same way about their country. The one thing that bothered me is that your post seemed to classify all Canadians as being disespectful towards the US, which isn't true. Yes, Vancouver fans did show disrespect, and yes, some Canadian fans in GF last year did the same. However, we have some class act Canadians who visit and post on this board on a regular basis, who feel embarrassed about the actions of their fellow countrymen. They've stated that several times since the tournament began and ended. Let's give them the respect that they deserve and not classify all Canadian's as being bad, simply because of the actions of some Canadians.

Great recovery tonight for the Sioux and Lammy! Hopefully that will ease the boys a little, and allow them to prepare better for those pesky rodents!

I still think he's that!
