I always hate playing Mankato. For whatever reason, they always play the Sioux tough. On paper, it almost always seems like it should be a relatively easy sweep series, but in reailty, in never turns out that way. That's life in the WCHA though. Thanks for the great recap PCM!

Well, a lot better 1st period than 2nd or 3rd last night. However, I still think Maine is the better team out there right now. Sioux need to keep working hard and hope for some breaks. Stay out of the box, because Maine's PP is lethal right now.

Very similar to when we played Wisconsin last year early in the season. Wisconsin was clearly the better team that night, but we came around as the season grew older.
